"So how's it been going?"
"Don't start with that."
"Starrt with what?", your friend looked at you innocently.
A sigh escaped your mouth as you lifted the Atsushi's body off the floor, giving him a piggy back of some sorts and then turned to give a dull stare at Dazai.
"Start with small talk and then go into a full interrogation.", you replied curtly, holding a grip on Atsushi then used your shadow ability to carry another agency member.
"I couldn't ever hide anything from you, could I?"
You looked at your friend, confusion clearly written on your face but Dazai only gave you a cheeky smile back. After the encounter with Akutagawa, Dazai decided it was best to get the agency members back to ADA building through the alleyways, sadly your curiosity of Dazai's new job made you tag along. The walk to the agency was quite, with not a sound between you and Dazai ever said outloud. It was mutual understanding you two had created, a show of respect for one another. But that walk of silence was soon gone as you found yourself in front of the Agency building.
"I saw the other day on Tsunami bank."
A small grin came at the corner of your cheeks as you knew what your friend was about to say next.
"You lead him to me didn't you?"
Although you knew you could hide that fact, you answered as if you didn't know, "Lead who? You must be absurd."
You quickened your pace to try to change the conversation, climbing the flight of stairs to the agency, to your demise Dazai's footsteps also seemed to pick up pace.
"Are you running away, Y/n-chan?"
"No I just want to drop off the kid and your colleague.", you stated plainly before climbing up tp the top of the stairs.
"Ah I see", Dazai replied curtly before following your footsteps.
Nearing toward the agency door, you begin to sigh in relief that you wouls soon be able to leave. Lifting off the white haired boy off your back, you leaned him again the wall. Dazai looked in curiosity and confusion as you dropped the boy off your back.
"Aren't you coming in?"
You scowled at his question, "No I just came to drop off your colleagues, nothing else. So don't try to trick me to joining your little organization", you finished off threateningly.
Dazai put his hands in the air, putting an exaggerated act as if he was guilty. In which in this case, he was. Letting out a sigh of defeat your friend leaned his colleagues on the side of a wall and then lifted his hands to get Atsushi from you're back. You could feel his hazel eyes staring into your back, hoping that you would gain some sort of curiosity about the agency.
It surely wasn't working-
"Fine.", your mouth opened up spilling out.
"But only for a few minutes.", you said quickly before your friend could coax you with more of his statements.
This small entrance though would lead to one of your most regrettable mistakes.
