"What a odd place to know about...but of course it would be familiar to you, right Osamu?"[_______________________________]
Looking down below from the window in the warehouse, your eyes caught the oh so familiar white haired boy who you had just encountered with a couple hours ago. And as you predicted he did get the help you said he would recieve or so it looked like so far. With the perculiar mind of Dazai-kun, you couldn't help but be concerned for Atsushi-kun as well...
You sweatdropped at the sight of your old friend reading the book you had once gotten familiar to, A Complete Guide to Suicide. Not being able to hear what Atsushi was saying to Dazai as he seemed to be discussing something, you turned your gaze toward the sky awaiting the reveal of Atsushi's gift. It seemed that Atsushi's awakening of somesorts had come, as he writhed in pain and began to shift into a powerful white tiger. You could only look as the tiger began to attack Dazai-kun and a grin began to spread on your face.
Stop teasing the tiger and just use your ability!
The tiger had cornered him to the wall but he wouldn't die as his ability canceled out Atsushi's and returned him to his regular state. Although you expected him not to die, you did not expect Dazai-kun to suddenly throw Atsushi's body to the floor with no guilt whatsoever. A chuckle escaped your breathe and you quickly left the scene, knowing Atsushi would be in good hands.

Following your everyday schedule, you faced the familiar door and opened up to greet your sensei, Natsume Sōseki, a man who you respect and disliked at the very same time. Meeting the man was quite unusual from the normal mett and greet anyone else would have, but it got you closer and curious about the man.
"Sensei, I'm back!", You yelled hoping he hear you in the small shack Sensei had owned near the riverbank.
"I can see that, come in."
"Well, " you started, "what do you have me today? Saving or leaving ruins today? Which side?"
A sigh emitted from your teacher, "If you know how much it peeves you then you shouldn't label it."
"Label what?, " you asked innocently. You continued to look at you Sensei for a response or reaction, but he remained quite and you decided to speak.
"Sensei just assign me a job or task, I'll be find whichever it may be!"
"That's not what I aim for you to simply do everytime I give you these tasks.", after speaking, suddenly Sensei rose from the chair he was previously sitting on and headed towards you. His silent demeanor slightly concerned you and your first instict was to grab a weapon ir something, but you restricted yourself and remained where you were. A hand was suddenly laid on your shoulder which caught your attention and you looked at your Sensei's expression, which was too calm for your liking.
"I'll be leaving you to handle your own tasks in a couple days."
Immediately hearing this you began to protest, " But Sensei you know I don't believe in society's opinions-"
Cutting you off, Sensei said, "They're not opinions, they're perspectives. The way you view them is through the outcome. You know you can't keep running away, both sides aim to have you."
Your hands began to clench and you glared at Natsume, but you knew that he was right and could do nothing but stay silent.
"I don't want to be apart of this...I shouldn't...," you answered softly. Past thoughts began to rush through your mind suddenly, the vivid flashes of blood and departing smiles. Shaking head, you made your position.
"No, I won't be apart of anything. I'll...I'll remain as I am now, inbetween the two different types of justice.", you exclaimed asserting you final position and decision. You expected a response back but you heard nothing, just the empty wind blowing through shack and a small paw print was left, indicating your Sensei's departure.
[End of Prolouge]
