Chapter One: The Young Saiyan Nico! The Beginning of A New Dragon Ball Story!

This Story Is Based Off Of The Popular Dragon Ball Z/Super Series. Having Basic Knowledge Of The Show/Manga Will Assist In Knowing What's Going On Sometimes. Even If You Don't Know Of The Most Recent Things, This Story Will Try To Keep You As Well Informed As Cannonly Possible. Thank You ~ Nico

This journey starts on the planet known as New Moon in the 11th Universe, this planet is bustling with Saiyan life. You may now be wondering how in the world there are Saiyans in this universe, it all happened when the evil Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta. When Frieza destroyed the planet, ten Saiyans were trying to escape, and they got sucked up into a wormhole right before they got caught up in the blast. When they awoke after their ship crashed, they opened up the ship doors and saw the crystal blue sky, unlike Planet Vegeta, this place is bustling with wildlife, trees, and there are flowing rivers everywhere. It was the most beautiful thing the ten Saiyans had ever seen. With all of this given to the ten Saiyans, they began building their own society. Soon, after quite a number of years, the new Saiyan utopia was prosperous, and they decided to name the planet New Moon. Unlike Planet Vegeta, New Moon's society was much more forgiving, easier on the average people of New Moon, but where peace goes, naturally does evil. After quite a few generations, there came along a young Saiyan named Nico. His story begins in the mountains near a small village named Small Moons. Nico is 15 years old, he has hair that's pretty wavy and is a deep jet black. Nico is also fairly tall for his age as well. He's the second oldest out of his two siblings, his younger sister Nida, and his older brother Tarle. His mother, Faye and father, Barku are low-class Saiyans, meaning they have to put in a lot more effort than the higher-class Saiyans. It wasn't always like this though, the work for the lower and mid-class became harder when King Eclipse came along. King Eclipse is a ruthless Saiyan, and the only reason he made his way to kingship is due to his claim of being the "Super Saiyan" of legend. King Eclipse rules as a lonesome king though, as his wife had passed away before he became king, and his only daughter, Moonlight is nowhere to be found. The king speculates that she ran off world with a Frieza Race named Blaze as his daughter and the Frieza Race were frequently seen together. With King Eclipse in power though, the low-class have to work much harder than usual, especially since the king had become quite bitter in his later years. Now, to continue the story with Nico! Nico says quickly "I'm off to school, I'll talk to you all when I get back! Love you all!" He then runs out the front door of his house with his bag tightly fastened on his back, he takes a leap, and flies to school. Nico had been trying to join the royal guard recently to help his family fix their monetary issues. While he was in training, he learned the basics of flying, fighting, and all sorts of techniques that could help him survive in most situations. There were some problems that came with this training though. Nico while knowing these things, still wasn't exactly that strong, and he found out a deadly secret about the Royal Guard. As he flies it takes him 30 minutes to get to his school. He soon arrives at his school, Moon High. Moon High has 3 main learning courses for their Saiyan students, Combat, Techniques, and Business. Nico lands and comes through the front door of the school, he gets his things together from his locker, and runs to class. He shows up to his Business class, he goes in and takes a seat. His teacher asks, "Nico my boy, you were almost late! And why aren't you in uniform?!" Nico says out of breath, "Sorry sir! I didn't realize how late it was when I left, and I didn't have time to get dressed! It won't happen again sir!" Suddenly a random female Saiyan slides up next to Nico with a nice big smile on her face as if she was waiting for him. The young Saiyan female that slid up to Nico was none other than his best friend, Zuna. He's known her ever since he was just a kid, she's his closest and only friend here on New Moon besides Devin. Nico has always had a huge crush on her though, but he never had the guts to tell her. Zuna is from a high-class family, one of the best business families on the planet in fact. Zuna looks at Nico and says playfully "Hey, you were almost late to class, what's up?" Nico nervously says, "I'll explain after class during our lunch." After Nico says this, Zuna's happy smile turns more to concern. After their class is over during lunch, they both head to the cafeteria, and notice a divide amongst the students. The high-class refuse to sit with low-class, and some high will sit with mid-class, but those higher than low-class refuse to sit with low-class. Zuna and Nico are talking about the menu. Nico says upset, "Ughh, this food is so terrible." Zuna says smartly "But don't forget that it's actually quite good for you despite the taste" After getting their food, they go to eat at their usual spot on the roof, but Nico gets grabbed by his arm by another low-class Saiyan. Nico says annoyed "Go ahead Zuna, it seems like Devin wants to talk to me" Zuna nods at Nico with a confused face and walks out of the cafeteria. Nico says "Devin" Devin says seriously "Nico, I'm serious, this is serious." Nico says even more annoyed, "Devin, you said that last time. Last time you said that the high-class and the mid-class were going to fuse into the "Higher-Mid-Class"." Devin says abruptly "This is serious, don't you see why Zuna and the other high-class are taking an interest in us low-class?" Nico says defensively, "Devin, Zuna has been my friend since childhood, since when have the high-class been nicer to the low-class other than Zuna?" Devin says smartly, "This morning, I dropped my book, and one of the high-class students picked it up and gave it back to me." Nico says confused, "So?" Devin getting more annoyed, "So??!! What do you mean so?!? Have you tasted the meat in this cafeteria?" Nico smartly answers, "Yeah, I have, and it tastes like Great Ape shit." Devin pauses and says with a blank face, "Wait, how do you know what that tastes like???" Nico totally confused, "It was just an expression, can you get on with this???" Devin says sadly, "Fine, fine, fine. I'll get on with it. Think about it, put it together. Some high-class are being nice to the low-class, and some low-class have stopped showing up to school." Nico says, 'Like who?" Devin quickly says, "Like, um, uh, Ricky." Nico says with growing confusion, "Who the hell is that?" Devin as if Nico attacked him, "You don't know Ricky?!? He was one of my greatest friends. He was short! He was also aggressive, but he was a really cool dude!." Nico then says, "And what exactly did that have to do with any of this?!?!" Devin then seriously, "You're probably eating him. Think about it, Great Ape shit? More like another Saiyan, what if they taste like Great Ape shit?!?" Nico turns around and says, "I'm leaving Devin." As Nico is walking away Devin pokes his head out of the cafeteria and says "You better believe me! Ricky is real!! He's short, aggressive, and pi---" Nico gets outside and flies up to the roof to meet Zuna. Nico says playfully "Hey Zuzu!" Zuna says embarrassed, "You know how I feel about that name" Nico says this sarcastically even though he wishes it was real, "Oh, you know you love me" Zuna says playfully, "Of course I do!" She says this playfully, but really means it. Then they begin to eat their food, and then Nico quickly finishes his food and says, "Okay, I'm ready to talk about what I mentioned in Business class earlier." Zuna perks up quickly, "Okay, I'm ready, lay it on me" she says excitedly. Nico says slightly bothered sounding, "So, you remember how I went to join the Royal Guard the other week right?" Zuna says jokingly, "Did you seriously do that? I never thought you of all people would work for the King" Nico explains, "Well, I went in because I heard that they pay really good, but I ended up finding something out that maybe I shouldn't have found out about. Then again, it could be for the better that I do know." Zuna growing more concerned, 'Well, what did you find out then?" Nico he's starting to become really angered and bothered, "I found out their true motives. They don't care about anyone, when I went there to train they had a huge amount of low-class and a small amount of mid-class. They were working them like slaves, it didn't look like training, these people looked extremely weak, not in power but in energy, and they weren't letting them rest. In fact, they would beat them if they stepped out of line and would sometimes even kill them." Zuna says extremely terrified, "Y...you must be mistaken right? That can't be, Nico they would never do that" Nico says somberly, "I saw it all, they just blew their damn heads off Zuna. They're not protecting us, they're using us". Zuna says quickly and scaredly, "Well, what do we do?? Do we stay or do we leave? I don't feel very safe Nico." Nico goes to say, "I---" but suddenly, Nico is cut off mid sentence when out front of the school he can hear some shouting. Nico and Zuna quickly and quietly relocate themselves to a position where they can watch and listen in on the conversation. Teacher says defensively, "I don't know why you soldiers are even here! We have no troubles, so you need to leave! Classes are still in session and we aren't due for another search for at least a month" Soldier says darkly "Listen, you need to keep your voice down. I don't want any problems, so keep that mouth of yours shut or there will be problems. Actually, I'll save you and myself the trouble" The Soldier then raises his hand up to the teacher's face, and before the teacher can even react his head is completely obliterated by a Ki Blast. The teacher's lifeless body hits the floor within seconds, and the soldier looks at the teachers. The Soldier tilts his head and says, "Boo" and then there's a huge explosion in the front of the school as more soldiers arrive and begin siege on the school. The teachers that are still outside see the chaos and start running to the door of the school in a total panic to warn all of the other teachers and students inside the school. The Soldier tilts his head again "That door would appear to be out of service for all of you!!" he says this while walking to the door and shoots some of the running teachers with Ki Blasts. The Soldier then proceeds to say with a huge grin, "Well, it appears the door does work for some of you. Time to get started" as he walks inside. Nico shoots his attention to Zuna with his face covered in fear and terror. Zuna says quickly and terrified, "We need to fly out of here right now Nico! I don't want us to die here" Nico says quickly to stop Zuna, "No, we can't! We'll be seen way too easily that way, they'll kill us in a heartbeat. Or worse. We need to go through the school as quietly as we can. I know that's the worst possible place to be right now, but we don't have a choice!" Zuna's face fills with fear at the thought of going back into the school, "Alright, let's go. Just please don't do anything rash in here okay? If there's a need to fight, we fight together" Nico then says, "Anything to keep you and me safe. We'll stay together no matter what okay Zuna?" Zuna nods at Nico and she slightly smiles with some comfort knowing Nico is with her. Before they enter through the door to go back into the school, they look off into the distance and realize this isn't just an attack on the school. They see fires everywhere and smoke rising from buildings in the distance. Even the main palace of New Moon is being attacked. Little do they know that they're long night is only just beginning. They finally make it inside and as Nico and Zuna move throughout the school, they can hear explosions on the other side of the school followed along by screams of panic and terror, they can hear students begging for their lives, terror in their voices. They can see people moving through the halls in the distance, there's smoke pouring out of some of the rooms. There are people being dragged away by soldiers, and there are bodies everywhere. They soon go into the Business classroom and find Devin sitting in the corner, praying no one finds him.. Nico says surprised, "D..De..Devin?" Nico peaks over the desk to see Devin cowering in the corner, he looks at Nico and says proudly, "I told you so." Nico already knowing where this is going, "What? What did you tell me?" Devin pulls out a small notebook and shows it to Nico, "Look, do you see in my book of theories here! Number 155, The Saiyan Army will take over the world" Nico says confused "I don't remember you telling me that Devin." Devin says quickly disregarding what Nico said, "Listen, we need to just get out of here, we can use my escape tunnels" Devin walks over to the other side of the room and opens up a small hatch leading into underground tunnels that he made. They slowly all one by one fit themselves into the tunnel Nico even more confused says, "Wait Devin, how long did it take to do this?" Devin says sternly "A long time, trust me" Zuna then says questioning Devin "Devin, do you ever eat the cafeteria food?" Devin says confused, "No, why do you ask?" Zuna growing more curious, "Um, well, there's a spoon in your back pocket that looks really used and bent, not to mention it has a bunch of concrete bits on it." Devin getting slightly nervous from the questions "Are you trying to imply that I eat concrete?" Nico butts in and says, "You two are having a very casual conversation for what's happening all around us. Devin, how the hell are you so calm right now?" Devin goes to say something and then coughs up a piece of concrete and catches it with his hand. Zuna looks at Devin with an "I told you so" face even though she's still filled with fear from what's happening. They stop moving for a bit to rest when Devin says, "Don't--" and suddenly, a pair of hands reaches down and grabs Devin. They pull him up really fast, Nico and Zuna both shout terrified, "Devin!" They both were extremely worried it may have been the Saiyan Traitors among the Royal Guard, but they discover it's just Av. Av is a high class student that only came to the school for about a week before the attack. Av is a taller brutish Saiyan that is regarded as one of the strongest students on New Moon. Av looking as if he was about to pummel Devin says angrily, "It's all the low and mid-classes fault! They did this! We should never have let them survive!" Devin says quickly "That doesn't even make any sense!" Av says slightly less angrily, "Yes it does! If the low and mid-class would just work like they're supposed to, none of this would have happened!! It's all your fault!" Nico says slightly upset, "Av, that literally doesn't make sense! You're blaming me and Devin for something we had no control over!" Av looks back pissed off, "Yes it does! And I'm blaming you because if you weren't around none of this would have happened" An explosion goes off further on in the room as soon as Av says this. They all hide quickly behind a few desks, Zuna is inside the under part of the desk to avoid being laid on by the guys. After the dust clears, two of the Traitorous Saiyans enter the room, examine it, and begin to talk to one another. Traitor 1 says smugly, "I swore I heard people talking here!" Traitor 2 says cynically, "You're going crazy! We've already caught all of these helpless fools, besides even if they try to escape, we've got patrolmen everywhere! In small towns, and the main city itself. Not even the palace is safe. No one is getting out of here alive or without us being right behind them." Traitor 1 says with confidence, "I have a feeling they're still inside the school with us. Especially that Av guy, he's one of the only people stupid enough to stay back and fight us. On top of that, there's still three students missing from our list besides Av. Their names are Devin, Nico, and Zuna. One thing does confuse me though. The list doesn't mention Av's class. It's just blank for him. Whatever. Now, the other two males being low-class, and the female, high-class. Not too much to worry about, but they're still out there." Traitor 2 says calmly "Alright, you do what you gotta do, but I'm gonna go check the other rooms for the people still missing from the list." Traitor 1 says, "Okay man, I'm gonna blow this room to smithereens, don't want to take the chance of being jumped by that Av guy. If he catches us off-guard, he could do some damage, that's why this room is history." Traitor 2 then leaves the room giving Traitor 1 a signal, and Traitor 1 then raises both of his hands about to blow the whole room away with Ki Blasts. Zuna quickly whispers to Nico, "You need to tell me where he is right now or we're all gonna die!" Nico immediately follows command and tells her exactly where he's standing. Zuna then puts her finger up against the inside of the desk pointing towards the Traitor, and shoots a small flurry of tiny ki beams into the Traitor's stomach, stunning him instantaneously, but not knocking him unconscious. The beams hit directly where his lungs are so he can't scream for help, and he soon falls to the floor with blood slightly coming out of his mouth. Devin and Nico quickly take action and sprint over to the body and drag him out of the hallway's sight to avoid being seen by the other traitor which is on his way back to the class to check on all the noise. Traitor 2 says cautiously, "Hey!? Everything alright in there man!?!" The Traitor then enters the room through the hole in the wall. He's then greeted by Av, Devin, Nico, and Zuna all standing up facing him. Before he can do anything he's immediately pelted with a huge flurry of the tiny and silent ki beams, his upper body is completely destroyed by the beams. They all fired off their beams except for Av. He stood down while the rest fired. After the traitor is almost obliterated, they go to the first traitor and prop him up against the wall sitting up. They then start to question him. Nico says pissed off, "Why are you doing this?! Why is all of this horrible shit happening?!?" Traitor 1 starts laughing extremely hard, crazily in fact, "We're just doing this for fun kid, for sport! Just to make us better, we need to purge these foolish weak minded people. We are true Saiyans! Weak minded people will never be allowed to live as long as we're around! After this, no, after New Moon, everyone in this universe will know our strength!" He looks directly at Nico and says confidently, "No one will stop us, not even the Pride Troopers!" Just as Av goes to say something, the Saiyan starts coughing up some blood and his life is cut short. While looking at the traitor, they all noticed something in his pocket. Nico pulls the item out, and it turns out to be a schedule of all patrols across the planet, giving them a better chance at survival. Then Nico looks at the schedule and says happily, "Yes! We can get out of here! We just need to time our escape right!" Zuna then interjects and says, "No! We can't just leave the students that are still alive here all alone! They won't survive on their own!!" Av then says smugly, "Didn't you hear him you dumbass?!? He said that they killed everyone! They're all gone, no one left to save!" Zuna then responds shortly to Av "Bullshit!! That's not true! While me and Nico were sneaking around the school earlier, we heard one of these bastards say that they wanted to keep a specific set of the students alive! So, there has to be some left! Dumbass!" Nico thinks to himself, "Man Zuna really is amazing. Even after all that's happened here today, she still wants to stay back and fight for everyone. I guess I never mentioned it, but Zuna is a tough one. I'm not just saying that because she's high class either, every since she was a kid her family always pressured her to go into business, but she refused. She stuck with fighting and never stopped. She's really strong, hell! She's definitely stronger than me! One thing that has always confused me though. She never told me where she got her scar, and every time I bring it up, she gets really quiet" Nico then snaps out of his thoughts and says sadly "Zuna, if you really think that this is going to be alright, then I trust your decision. Please just be safe, and try to get along with the others. I don't know what I'd do if you got hurt or worse. I really need you to stay alive for me" Zuna stands there not knowing what to say, then Nico walks over to the window looking out into the night sky and says calmly, "Devin, Av, please stay safe, and make sure that Zuna is alright. I don't want any of you to get hurt here. I'm going to seek out King Eclipse in the main palace, if anyone can help this planet from chaos it's him. He'll send these bastards to the beyond! He is the legendary Super Saiyan after all!" Just before Nico can jump out the window and begin his run to the palace, Zuna grabs him and says growing more sad, "You better be careful you! I don't know if I'd be the same without you in my life. I really care about you Nico." She then pulls him really close to herself and hugs him tightly, tighter than ever before. While hugging, Zuna whispers under her breath, "I really do love you" Nico doesn't hear this, but is surprised by Zuna's hug, he hugs her back with just as much care. Nico then lets go and looks down at Zuna and whispers "Goodbye" to her. He runs to the window and jumps out of it with tears forming in his eyes as he falls to the ground. When he hits the ground he looks back and says the same to Zuna, "I really do love you" but she doesn't hear him. Nico then starts to book it for the palace, with only the thought of saving his friends, and everyone else on the planet. As he ran from the building Zuna leaned out the window and shouted "Nico!! Please come back safe to me!!!" As she shouts that, tears begin flowing down her face. When Devin finally gets Zuna to calm down, they both notice that Av is gone. This worries the both of them, but they quickly get to work on the other students. After a decent time of running, and hiding from patrolmen, Nico finally makes the journey across New Moon to King Eclipse's palace. Upon arriving at the palace he notices that there is a huge amount of dead soldiers, they died because they thought becoming traitorous was wrong, they weren't actually traitors. Nico thinks to himself, unaware of the soldiers dying to protect the king, "Oh man! That king must really be a Super Saiyan if he took this many people down! No time to waste then!" After walking into the castle, he sees the king hiding behind his throne shouting terrified, "Leave me alone! Please! I don't know why you're all doing this!" Nico then says confused, "King Eclipse?? What's going on?" King Eclipse then says with disgust in his voice, "Ew, just a low-class. Why don't you just beat it. Not like you can do anything anyways!" Nico then says cautiously, "My King! What's going on? Why aren't you killing these soldiers? Why aren't you becoming the Super Saiyan of legend?! The warrior that flushes out the darkness and protects his people!" King Eclipse then says "The thing is, I can'---" the king's words are cut short as a Ki Beam shoots through his chest killing him instantly. The king stands there for moments with blank eyes before falling to the floor. Looking to the darkness of the room where the beam came from, Nico is confronted by the leader of the traitorous Saiyans. T Leader steps in and says smugly "You know he couldn't become a Super Saiyan right? He never could, you all were fools to believe that! Such weak minds, just as my pal said" Nico completely stunned by this discovery says, "I can't believe it's y-you. AV?!?!" Av steps out of the shadow and reveals himself while laughing extremely loud. Av says maniacally, "Yes Nico, it's me. How are you? Miss me?" Nico says with growing anger in his voice, "How did you get here?!? Wait, where is Zuna?!? You didn't kill her did you?!? " Suddenly several gusts of power start emitting from Nico just from the thought of Zuna being hurt. Av says confidently and sadistically, "Haha, don't worry about her. Let me tell you why I'm doing this! I wanted to show how this worthless, so called "King" dies. A liar. This so called Super Saiyan, he was lying this whole time. Anyone can tell you anything and you just might have believed it. I wanted to come here and prove that nobody can beat us, not even the one you rely on. Now, why you may ask? Because, like my fellow you murdered in the school. It's a game, a fun little game where I play wolf and you play sheep. Now, I'm going to kill you and bring your lifeless body back to your pathetic friends, just to show them how helpless they are. You're going to die here Nico" Nico looks angrily at Av and suddenly lunges forward to attack. Then from the outside of the palace there's a massive explosion and Nico is thrown from the building, when he lands he's greeted with an open area. Nico can see the school where Zuna and Devin are off in the distance getting all of the students that survived together. Shortly after Nico recovers, Av jumps down from the palace and lands directly in front of Nico catching him off guard. Av then grabs Nico and throws him to the ground, breaking it, and kicks Nico to send him flying. Then, while Nico is in the air holding his stomach he quickly hits the ground and begins rolling. Av then appears above Nico and begins stepping on his head. Nico's head is now fixed towards the school, it's in a very clear view. Nico can see what appears to be students going to the front of the building. Nico then says confidently "You see that? They're all alive and they're gonna come help me kill you. Then, we'll clear all of you bastards off of this planet" Av then smirks and says cockily "Sure, say what you want, but all I have to do is make a call. Soldiers!" Av shouts to some nearby soldiers that were waiting for his mark, "Looks like those idiots at the school failed. Go clean up after em'!" Nico can hear the soldiers confirming the order. Nico then panicking says, "NO! Don't hurt them!!! JUST KILL ME INSTEAD!! They don't deserve to die! IF YOU KILL THEM YOU'LL REGRET EVER EXISTING" Av bends down and looks Nico in the eyes while holding him down with his foot still Av says smugly, "Why would I do that? I want you to watch the show instead! I want you to watch as I take your friends away from you!" Nico tries to get loose and shoots a Ki Blast at Av's leg forcing his leg to move off of him. Nico quickly grabs Av's other leg and sweep kicks the other one out from under him. Nico then grabs Av's head and slams it in the ground as hard as he can, shattering the ground and leaving Av laying there. Nico then begins running as fast as he could towards the school, but is stopped short when a Ki Blast hits him directly in the back. Nico drops to the ground immediately. Av says pissed, "Dammit kid! That actually hurt!" Nico holds out his hand towards the school as he can see the soldiers flying towards the school. Nico with barely anything left in him says "N..no!" Zuna and Devin are getting ready for the oncoming Saiyan soldiers, but as they're looking up at the soldiers a strange shadow appears behind the soldiers. The soldiers then look behind them fear and terror clearly on their faces. Av and Nico are fighting intensely, causing even the very ground around them to shake when Av throws Nico against a rock, almost knocking him out. Nico falls to his hands and knees, he looks back towards the school after hearing two massive explosions. When Nico looks at the school, there's nothing but fire and smoke. Av then walks up to Nico and says smugly "Hmph, looks like they all killed each other. I should feel bad because of my soldiers, but they were weak if they couldn't survive that." Nico then closes his eyes and starts to feel as hard as he can for energy from Zuna, "No, no, no, no, she's gone isn't she?" he says in his head. He finally finds her energy, but it fades out as quickly as he finds it. Tears begin to fill Nico's eye, he says quietly, "no, no, no, no. this can't be happening. she isn't gone" Av then retorts hearing Nico's sorrow "Oh but it is! It is very well happening and there's nothing you can do about it! She's gone and you'll never see her again!" Nico with tears falling from his face starts to slowly get up off of his hands and knees, Av is slightly taken aback by this because he thought that Nico was completely out for the count after the beating he gave Nico. As Nico is standing up the ground starts to slightly shake, but keeps getting more and more intense by the second. The sky is slowly turning into a dark black, and lightning is beginning to strike everywhere. Nico is completely stood up at this point and lightning begins to strike all around the area him and Av are in now. Av is taking steps back, slightly worried about what's happening. Nico only says one thing very quietly behind his tears, "she's gone" Nico says this and looks directly at Av and lets out a spine tingling battle cry as the ground around him shatters to pieces and begins shaking extremely more than before. As this happens his hair starts to slowly stand up while turning a soft blond color, as well as his eyes turning to a light green. As this happens, yellow energy begins surrounding Nico as the tears fall from his eyes. Soon the yellow energy completely surrounds him as the ground continues to break apart and shake intensely. It begins to rain. Just as Av thought things were calming down, Nico lets out a massive battle cry that disperses all of the yellow energy that surrounded him. As he yells and the energy disperses, the rain that fell was being blown away and the darkness of night came to an end. Nico then stands with his hands to his side under the light from the sun. Tears still falling. His body completely wrapped in a golden aura. Under the light of a new day stood a Super Warrior that was long thought to be just a legend. Nico, The Super Saiyan is born! Av who was completely crazy at this point thought nothing of this power. He lunged forward to throw a fist directly into Nico's face. Av's fist connects with Nico's face and a shockwave is sent flowing out from the impact, splitting the ground all around them. Nico is completely unfazed by this attack. Nico then stares directly into Av's eyes and says, "Now it's your turn to suffer" Av becoming scared of this new power he's faced with flies backwards. Av then gets into the stance to shoot a Galick Gun. Av says angrily, "My fist is one thing, but this attack will send you to the next world! GALICK GUN!" Nico lunges towards Av as Av fires the Galick Gun going straight through the Galick Gun, and throws his fist directly into Av's stomach launching him into the air. Av spits up a lot of blood from that punch alone and is now stunned, stationary in the air. Nico then flies up to Av and begins to beat him senseless, punching him in the face with punches that shake the very air that surrounds them. Nico then flies back down to the ground ready to finish the fight off. The Golden Warrior holds his hand up towards Av and forms a fairly large ki ball in front of his hand (See "Big Bang Attack" for reference), and fires it at full speed. The blast hits Av and completely obliterates his entire body on contact. Nico stands victorious under the sunlight with a frown, clenching his fist. He then says, "I need to end this, these filthy bastards, they all deserve the same to die a horrible death!. Wait what? Why did I say that? I'm never this aggressive, what the hell is going on? It doesn't matter I guess. There is something I have to do first though." Nico walks over to the school where Zuna and Devin were both killed. He looks around in the debris and finds a piece of purple fabric from Zuna's clothes. Tears beginning to come back to Nico's eyes, he grabs it tightly, and then wraps it around his head to ensure that he would never forget her. Nico says angrily, "Now to go deal with those bastards..." Then, before he can fly away from the rubble, a short pink man appears. Nico says confused, "Wait, what the hell? Who are you?!" Before Nico could do anything, the pink man put his hand to the ground with a huge grin on his face. Nico could instantly tell he had intentions to destroy the planet. Nico rushing towards him, "NOOOO---" New Moon was then no more, gone. Everyone that was on it were vaporized in the explosion.

SOMEWHERE IN A DISTANT PART OF UNIVERSE 11 ON A PLANET NAMED GILLS

A planet that looks very similar to our very own Earth, named Gills. Ironically, this planet, despite being named Gills, the planet is mostly made up of land. It's a very lush planet with an already bustling society of people that look very identical to us Humans. Out on the beautiful countryside of Gills, there lies a small cottage with a family in it. They are mourning the loss of their kind. Up on a hillside not far from the cottage at all appears our young Saiyan, Nico out of thin air. Nico slowly opens up his eyes to find himself alive, he gasps and gets up very quickly. He starts to look around to figure out where he is, and if all he experienced was just a dream. The first thing he checks is his hair. He feels to see if his hair is still standing up with the fluffy blonde color it was on New Moon. He pulls his hair down to find that he is indeed a Super Saiyan and all that happened on New Moon was real. Nico begins to tear up, he's now on a strange planet he had never seen before. Nico is alone, and he sits there crying. Before Nico could do anything else a voice from behind him says, "No need to cry young one, it's okay. You haven't lost everything. I promise it will be okay" Nico snaps out of his sadness, "Who the hell are you?!" Khai says calmly, "I am the Grand Supreme Kai, my name is Khai. It's a pleasure to meet you Nico!" Nico says scardly, "Grand Supreme Kai, what the hell is that?" Khai says, "I'm a protector and a creator of sorts you could say." Nico confused says, "Why did you save me? Why not the rest of those people that could've been saved?" Khai says sadly, "I couldn't, that pink man, Ricky. I couldn't have stopped him. He would've killed us if I had tried that." Nico then says angrily, "Wait, was it him?! Was he the one that killed all my classmates?! Who killed Zuna?!" Khai says "Yes, it was him. He did indeed do it." Nico begins to look furious, but Khai says something before he can do anything. Khai says "I must take my leave now. I have to go and watch someone for a while. I'll be back for you before you know it" Nico says confused, "Wait, you're leaving?! What the hell man?! I still have so much I need answered." Khai says, "Don't worry young Nico, everything will be revealed when you're ready. And I promise that you'll get to see them again. Oh, and before I go. Please go to that cottage down there, there's some people that are in very much need of your presence. Kai Kai." Khai instantly disappears before Nico's eyes, and Nico is left standing there more confused than ever. Nico then remembers what the mysterious Kai had said. He then begins down the hillside to go to the cottage he mentioned. Nico gets to the cottage and knocks on the door. The door slowly opens and Nico's eyes light up.
