You were the daughter of Gunhead. Well, adopted daughter. He'd picked you out from an orphanage when you were 2 years old, charmed by your charmingly fiery, but cute personality. According the the orphanage workers, you'd been one of the unfortunate souls who'd been left by their parents with nothing but a card containing your name. So, Gunhead was worried about when the time came for your quirk was to be developed. It could be anything, and potentially dangerous.

But... your fourth birthday passed with no signs of any power. Maybe you were just a late bloomer? But then your fifth passed with no luck. At this point Gunhead started to worry, and took you to the doctor, where you were diagnosed as quirkless. Gunhead was hit by an extreme wave of guilt, as he knew you wanted nothing more than to follow in his footsteps to become a hero. However, as he looked towards your face he saw no sadness, but only determination.

"Well then! I'll just have to work extra hard and become the first quirkless hero in the world!" You exclaimed boldly.

Gunhead found himself completely awestruck by your willpower, and he as well as your doctor's mouths were left wide open in the shape of perfect Os. But slowly, he found himself smiling along with you as he quickly picked you up and spun you around.

"Hell yeah you will!, " Gunhead cheered.

For the next 7 years, Gunhead trained you in hand to hand combat. When you first started off, by no means were you a natural, but you worked HARD. As you continued training, you got better and better, adding your own personal style to Gunhead's until you were eventually able to beat him. And at the age of 12! He often said that the first time you beat him was the proudest moment of his entire life, which made you swell with pride.

After this, you started branching out even more. With Gunhead's permission, you started picking out weapon's training. He was always supportive, and would enroll you in anything you wanted to try. Unlike hand to hand combat, weapons came much more naturally to you. By the age of 14, you'd mastered 30 types of guns, archery, the bow staff, and 4 types of swords. By the age of 15, you'd also mastered, throwing and butterfly knives. You knew how to wield to some extent a vast majority of other weapons as well, but those were the ones you were best at.

Gunhead felt honored that he got to call you his daughter. He knew that you were going to make a fantastic hero. Maybe not the number one hero, but that had never been your goal in the first place. You just wanted to be able to help the citizens of Japan and prove that anybody could be a hero, no matter how bad they thought their quirk was. Plus, there was the added benefit of earning a bit of cash from it. You weren't necessarily looking to become rich, but you knew you needed a source of income if you wanted to well, live.

When the time came for you to enroll into high school, Gunhead offered to get some heroes to recommend you to some hero schools, but you declined. You wanted to try the exams yourself, and see how much not having a quirk would handicap you. The answer? Pretty much not at all. You'd gotten first place in most of your entrance exams and second place in the one to UA. You'd gotten with 76 points, only one point behind the first place (Some guy named Bakugo Katsuki) with 45 villain points and 31 rescue points. You'd been accepted into class 1-A with flying colors.

Gunhead took you out for dinner to celebrate the day you got your UA acception letter. The two of you were so proud that all those years of training was worth it, and that you were finally getting closer to achieving your dreams as a pro hero.

Your first day at UA was interesting to say the least. The teacher ended up being a sleepy yellow caterpillar with a fondness for juice boxes named Aizawa. You immediately liked him. He got straight into business and started the school year with a quirk apprehension test, in which you scored pretty decently for someone without a quirk, ending up at 9th place. Unlike everyone else, you didn't excel at a particular activity, and were more well rounded.

A few of your classmates *cough* Izuku *cough* noticed that you didn't use any quirk during the test, which sparked their interests. Midoriya was the first to question you about it, and you proudly stated you were quirkless. Immediately,  his eyes flashed to pity, but then quickly to admiration. You were like him! Or at least, how he used to be. You were the perfect example that he could've been a hero even without a quirk, and it blew his mind.

Like the emotional bean he is, Midoriya started to tear up, which caused you to freak out.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry, was it something I said?!" You questioned frantically.

"No, no I'm s-sorry! It's just... I was a really l-late bloomer, and I-I guess I kind of a-almost gave up on being a hero since it didn't seem like I was going to have a quirk if that makes sense. Seeing you here, doing s-so well as someone who's quirkless is so inspirational!" Midoriya started to ramble as he wiped off his tears.

"W-wow you really think I'm inspirational? Thank you! You're so sweet!," You blushed.

From then on, he started asking more questions about you and how you'd trained to get to this point. He always held his notebook along with him and would hastily take notes about you, eager to hear every detail. These interactions started to bloom into a beautiful friendship and eventually, your friendship turned into something more.

If you actually managed to read this and make it down here, thanks a lot! I really appreciate it <3 Please give me any constructive criticism that you feel like would help my writing better, because good lord I need that. I really want to make a part 2 for this, because the ending felt so rushed and you didn't really get to see the actual interaction between you and Midoriya. But I'm not sure how motivated I'd feel to make it so I'm sorry :(
