I never knew nor would I have searched for a tapestry made of such fine thread. The picture it presents is like a wonder of the world. The intertwining of the threads of blues, blacks, purples, and reds construct this as radiantly as Leonardo da Vinci painting the Mona Lisa. I turn the masterpiece over and see the amalgamation of thread and string. Each color intricately placed and woven around the equally thoughtfully placed strands. Strands of pure gold highlight the pieces strengths and make any flaw insignificant. I see the emotions emanating from this beautiful fabric. I see the pain, sadness, and hopelessness seeping out like blood. I, also, see the rugged beauty that most can only imagine. The moment I understand the artwork, the meaning changes and captures my interest. It shows me much about myself as it does of itself. There is something hidden here that presents itself as plain. I can't see any ordinary string in this wonderful tapestry. I only see the most exquisite wonder that makes my own threads and strings dull in comparison.
