"Get my car," I ordered my man, "And track, Max. He is in trouble." I ran my fingers through my hair. Fuck! I should not have let her go. She was in trouble.

"What happened, bro? Is everything alright?" Ava touched my shoulder, searching for an answer.

I nodded to her, "Take care of Harley. I have something urgent to handle," I gave her a quick smile and hugged her one more time, "Don't go until my back," I said and walked out. Harley was enjoying her party and looking thrilled. I glanced at her one more time before walking out of the mansion. My man had already parked my car waiting for me. "Call, John and Brett, and inform them I need them to come quickly. Does Leo have tracked the call?" I didn't call Leonardo, but I knew that my man would have already informed him about Max and Kiara.

He nodded. "He said that all this happened near the LGA, but he cannot find the exact location. He is on the way to you," Leo had a soft spot for Kiara and he must have been worried after hearing this.

Before I could enter my car. Alice's Mercedes was entering through the gate.

Fuck!!

I did not have enough time to explain it to every person right now. She came out with her forever smile. "Hey," her eyes studied me before my car, "Where are you going? Is there anything important? Even more important than your daughter's birthday?!" I didn't understand whether she was questioning or stating.

For a few seconds, I thought to snap, mind her own business, but I smiled, "Yes, it is important but not important as my daughter's birthday. She is enjoying her friends, so I thought, why don't I too enjoy my whore?"

She cringed at my word. "You're disgusting!" she hissed and walked out of my sight. For a few moments, I had forgotten that Ava was there, too. Alice and Ava had never faced each other since that incident. I sighed soundly and looked back at her. But she had already disappeared into the house. These three women would drive me crazy. I opened the door and climbed in.

After half an hour, Leonardo and Harmony joined me, and John was following us. "Have you tracked them, Leo? Name the place," I said through the phone, waiting for his reply.

"I couldn't find the exact location, but I'm trying my best, boss. I just need a few more minutes," he said.

"You've already got thirty minutes, Leo!!" I snapped and disconnected the call. The next moment, Brett's number appeared on my phone screen. I quickly picked up. "Did you find Max?"

"Yes, Boss. We've found him. He has a bullet in his knees and a few bruises. We are extracting more information from him, but we have to take him to the doctor first," he said.

"I'm coming to him. I assume you've taken him to our doctor and made sure he would get proper care," I sighed in frustration. Max was loyal to me for six years and I couldn't let him suffer because of some other person. The person who brought us trouble. Kiara. I couldn't risk my single man's life for her.

I pulled the car into the underground garage and killed the engine. My men were already waiting for me. I shrugged off my jacket and handed it to one of my men. "Where is Max?" I asked them.

"Now, he is fine but unable to walk because he got shot in his legs," I knew that.

Brett came out, "He is waiting for you, Boss," he said and I nodded to him.

We entered the room. The Doctor was checking on him. I approached his bed, examining his leg, which was wrapped in bandages. He has a few bruises on his face and swollen eyes. "How're you feeling?"

"Better," he said heavily, groaning with pain. "I'm sorry. I tried hard to stop them, but they were four and we were only two. I was unable to save her," there was regret in his eyes.
