Akira's P.O.V.
We are walking in the mountains. Stefan is carrying Ray, unconscious, on his shoulders. "You okay? Is Ray getting heavy?" I taunted "I'm fine." Stefan said aggravated since I had been bothering him the whole way up here "You sure about that? You know, we've been walking for quite some time now. If you need some water or a little sit-down..." Klaus said "You know, I get that we're, uh...we're stuck together, but if we could maybe just skip the chitchat, it'd be great." Stefan said "So much brooding. Your self-loathing is suffocating you, my friend." Klaus said "Maybe it's 'cause I'm a little tired of hunting werewolves. We've been at it all summer." "Thanks to Ray, we finally found a pack. We're here." I said
Stefan enters their camp. Everyone looks at him. He puts Ray on the ground. A woman rushes over to him. "Ray! Oh, my God. What's going on? Who are you?" a woman said/asked Stefan
Klaus and I join Stefan. "The important question is who am I. Please forgive the intrusion. My name is Klaus." he said "You're the hybrid." she with realization "DING DING DING we have a winner" I said
Klaus looked at me then back at her and smirked
Klaus and Stefan are sitting and I'm standing. The whole pack is standing still, looking at Klaus and listening. "It's fascinating, actually...A werewolf who isn't beholden to the moon, a vampire who doesn't burn in the sun. A true hybrid." Klaus said
Ray then decides to wake up from his beauty sleep. "Excellent timing, Ray. Very dramatic." Klaus said "What's happening to me?" Ray said confused "Akira?" Klaus said "Are any of you human? Your friend here needs human blood to complete his transition to vampire. If he doesn't get it, he will die." "Doesn't take much, just a sip. Anyone? A boyfriend, a girlfriend, along for the ride?" Klaus said
He then looks at a man "You!" he says before rushing over to him and biting his forearm. Stefan grabs him and throws him on the ground in front of Ray. The woman protests but Klaus strangles her. "If you don't drink it, Ray, I will. Problem is I don't know how to stop." Stefan says
Klaus looks at the girl. "It's the new order, sweetheart. You join us, or you die." He says "I'd rather die than be a vampire."the woman he was strangling said "Wrong choice." Klaus says before he gives her his blood.
Ray drinks the blood from the man. "She'll thank me for that later. Heh." Klaus says He snaps her neck and kills her temporarily. "Okay, who's next?" he says
His eyes are yellow and his fangs are out.
Klaus gives his blood to the human and compels him. "There. Good as new. Now you relax, okay, mate? We're gonna need you when the rest of them wake up." Ray is sitting on a rock nearby, grabbing his body and shivering. "They're dead. They're all dead." Ray says "Ah, he's through his transition. He should be feeling better soon." Klaus says "So is this your master plan? Build an army of hybrid slaves?" Stefan questions "No, not slaves. Soldiers, comrades." I say "For what war, might I ask?" he asks again "Oh, you don't arm yourself after war has been declared, Stefan. You build your army so big that no one ever dares pick a fight." Klaus says "What makes you so sure that they'll be loyal?" Stefan said "Well, it's not difficult to be loyal when you're on the winning team. That's something you'll learn once you shake that horribly depressive chip off your shoulder." Stefan laughs. "That's why you're, uh...you're keeping me around? To witness my attitude adjustment?" Stefan says
Klaus looks at Ray, sits next to him, and examines his face. Ray's eyes are bleeding. Uh-oh, it's starting "You'll know why I'm keeping you around when I've decided that I want you to know." Klaus said "Something's wrong." I said "That shouldn't be happening, should it?" Stefan asks "Well, obviously." I said "You said it was gonna feel better. Why doesn't it feel better?" Ray said while shaking "Some master race." Stefans says "Lose the attitude." Klaus says
The woman wakes up. "Derek, come feed your girlfriend." Klaus says
He gets up. Ray snarls and makes a few jumps and leaves. Klaus looks at Stefan and I. "Go get him." he told us
Stefan jumps on Ray and pushes him on the ground. Ray bites him, slashes me on my stomach and leaves. Stefan is about to go after him but he hears Damon and Elena's voice. I'm starting to see little black spots and that's probably not good.
No one's P.O.V.
Stefan starts walking in Klaus's direction so Klaus won't see Damon and Elena. "Where did he go?" Klaus asked "He, uh...he got away. Forget him." Stefan says Klaus sees his arm and grabs it. "A fatal werewolf bite. Ouch." he says "Yeah. I'm gonna need your blood to heal me." Stefan says "Well, I tell you what. You find Ray, and then I'll heal you." he says "You can't be serious." Stefan says in response "You better hurry, 'cause that bite looks nasty." Klaus says
Klaus goes back to the campsite and sees the others are waking up. All of their eyes are bleeding.
It's nighttime at the camp and a campfire is burning. Klaus is with Derek. "Bad news, my friend. End of the road for you." Derek offers no resistance as Klaus kills him by drinking his blood. The woman is in front of him. "Careful, love. There's only one Alpha here." All the werewolves are staggering around the camp, their eyes bleeding. They look like zombies. "Bloody hell." he said
Akira's P.O.V.
I have to get up. I thought getting a needle to the arm hurt this is some B.S. How have I not bled out. I look down and see the scratches on my stomach are glowing a golden color and healing themselves. I get up and at first I have to hold onto a tree to keep myself up. Oh crap I just realized it's night. I start walking and after a while I can see Stefan.
He's walking back to camp with Ray over his shoulders. The rest of the pack are lying on the ground dead. Klaus is there. Stefan drops Ray on the ground. "They went rabid. Some of them, I killed. The others just...Bled out. In the end...They're all dead." He yells and throws the bottle of beer in his hand. He screams at the sky. "I did everything I was told!" he yelled "I should be able to turn them. I broke the curse. I killed a werewolf. I killed a vampire. I killed the doppelgänger." Stefan's uncomfortable I can tell. "You look like hell." Klaus said "Last I checked, I'm dying...and you don't want to heal me." Stefan said
He sees Klaus looking down at Ray's body. "I had to take him out. I didn't have a choice. I failed you. I'm sorry. Do what you have to do." Stefan said "It should have worked." Klaus said
He turns around and takes an empty bottle of beer. He bites his hand, makes a fist, puts the blood draining from it in the bottle and holds the bottle out to Stefan. "Bottoms up. We're leaving." Stefan takes the bottle. "It appears you and Akira are the only comrades I have left. Speaking of where is Akira?" Klaus asked Stefan drinks the blood from the bottle and throws it aside. "I'm not sure I haven't seen since her you sent us to go get Ray." As if on cue I finally come stumbling into the clearing.
I fought against the urge to stop and just close my eyes and started to walk futher into the clearing. Klaus noticed me right before I was about to collapse. I closed my eyes and started falling but I didn't hit the ground. I forced my eyes open to see that Klaus was trying to feed me his blood "Come on love" he said I used all the strength I had left to get it down my throat "Thank you" I tried to stand up only for my knees to give way "I've got you love, I've got you" Klaus said reminding me of what he said to Hayley in The Originals. I couldn't help but smile as I drifted off to sleep in his arms.
