Blackened Mists {Rusger}

Introduction

Here's some explanations of the world of blackened mists!

This is an au which deals with some sort of plague and a lot of magic.

The mists
The mists is some kind of highly poisonous dust that appears in the dark. It's everywhere  but only becomes poisonous in the dark. Ones it's getting dark it's everywhere. During the rather short day it can also be found in shadows including people's shadows and houses. The only way to prevent yourself from getting poisoned by the mist is by carrying a lantern with a certain kind of light which keeps the poisonous dust away.

The Beasts
When a person has been in the mist without a lantern for too long their body gets taken in by it,causing them to turn into aggressive beasts. They spread the poisonous dust everywhere they go and attack each living being they see.

The Losts
The Losts are people who have been attacked by a Beast,causing the body part which was hit by the Beast to go purple/black and completely useless. People fear that the Losts also spread the poisonous dust which is why Losts are hunted and killed at all costs.

Races and kingdoms
There are three different kingdoms. Each kingdom has it's own race of people. Nevertheless they all live in peace unless it comes to a death without proper reason.

-Angels
Angels radiate dim light from their bodies which is about the only reason they're called Angels. The light they give off doesn't prevent the dust from poisoning them since the light isn't the right kind of light. Even though the race is called Angel most of them act rather narcissistic and devilish. The Angels have almost nothing good about them other than good archery skills.

-Dragons
A rather old proud clan race that decided to fight against the poisonous dust by purposely getting branded by it's poison or by Beasts. The reason they're called Dragons is that their skin feels like leather or scales at some spots and their brave behavior.

-Hunter/Greifs
A pure hunting race,made to be fast and silent. Some are born with wings,some with residues of wings and rarely some without wings. Even though Hunter/Greifs without wings look like simple humans on the first look they can still be recognized by their eyes. Even though they can't fly because of the mist being too thick the higher you are they still are rather helpful due to their awfully good eyes. They could see a beast from miles away and are just as good at aiming.
