Lucy and I exited the How through a back door that the Professor had told us about. It led straight into the forest, so that's where we were now. Everything was going smoothly, until we heard multiple Telmarine's on horses approaching us.

"They've seen us!". Lucy yelled in fear.

I continued to ride, only looking up once or twice to see how close they were. I wasn't pleased with what I saw. Making Destrier go faster, Lucy and I entered a clearing in the woods where I slid off the horse and pulled out my bow.

"Take the reins Lucy". I held my sisters hand for a moment.

"What are you doing?". She asked as I stepped away.

"Holding them off". I replied. "Good luck Lucy".

I made a clicking noise with my tongue and pushed Destrier forward. This made Caspian's horse take off into the woods. I turned around, my bow ready with an arrow in it. My blue eyes focused on the little hill the Telmarine's would come over and waited. Hearing a shout, I narrowed my eyes at the hill and raised my bow. As soon as I let go of the arrow, a Telmarine soldier fell off his horse.

Reloading my bow again and again, I took out several more soldiers, so only two were left. However, as I was turning around to aim at a Soldier, their horse knocked me off my feet. Quickly changing my bow into a staff, I jumped back onto my feet and stabbed a Telmarine with my weapon. Only one was left. Before I could attack, I heard a yell from behind me, so I turned around.

Raising my eyebrows in shock, I was surprised to see Caspian riding in on his horse while taking out the last soldier. He looked at me smugly and held out his hand.

"Are you sure you don't need that horn?". He asked, helping me onto his horse.

I rolled my eyes at his comment but still shared his smile. He took us back to the plains were the How was and immediately, my eyes landed on Peter fighting Miraz. His helmet was off which was not a good sign. I slid off the horse and ran over to Edmund, Caspian right behind me. Peter was walking over to us, a pained and worried look on his face.

"Lucy?". He asked me.

"She got through, with some help". I told him, sneaking a glance at Caspian.

"Thanks". Peter said to Caspian awkwardly.

"Well, you were busy". Caspian nodded at Peter.

"Clara you should get up there". Peter pointed at the top of the How where I saw Susan and other archers. "I don't expect the Telmarine's to keep their word".

"Well I think, for this fight, that I should stay down here". I told him, gesturing to my staff.

"If that's what you want". Peter nodded, wincing as he moved his arm.

Moving forward a bit, I gently took Peter's arm and led him towards a rock so he could sit down. I took a bit of cloth from Caspian and tied it around Peters arm.

"I think it's dislocated". I said to him.

"What do you think happens back home, if you die here?". Peter asked when Edmund came over.

We didn't respond, because Ed and I didn't actually know. Maybe I'd ask Aslan when he arrives.

"You know you've both been there for me... but I never truly-".

Peter was cut off by Edmund popping his arm back into place. My older brother yelled in pain. Edmund told him to save it for later. I helped my brother stand up and then he walked back into the circle where he was fighting before. I noticed Miraz refused his helmet and that his leg was bandaged. So far I think his ego is the only thing that's actually been damaged.

The ran at each other, both of them blocking and swinging their swords. Somehow, Miraz had pushed Peter onto the floor. I clutched Caspian's hand like it was the only way I could keep breathing. The man beside me didn't seem to mind though, he even rubbed my hand gently with his thumb to calm my nerves.

Things then looked up for Peter, because he knocked Miraz off his feet. They both got up again, and Peter fought hard to eventually get Miraz's sword onto the floor. But then, Miraz did the same to Peter. My brother was left without a shield and Miraz was constantly hitting him in the face with his weapon. After that, Peter punched Miraz's wounded knee and the Telmarine gasped in pain.

My brother got the Telmarine on his knees, calling out 'respite'. But when Peter had walked away letting Miraz have his 'time out', the Telmarine got back up and attacked Peter from behind like a coward. Peter, did this cool spinney thing and stabbed Miraz in the ribs. My brother then held up his sword but didn't finish the job.

"What's the matter boy?". Miraz taunted. "Too cowardly to take a life?".

"It's not mine to take". Peter replied coolly, handing the sword to Caspian.

Caspian stared at the sword and then at me. I nodded and let go of his hand. Caspian walked towards Miraz with a cold glare and raised the sword. Ready to kill Miraz.

"Perhaps I was wrong". Miraz said to Caspian. "Maybe you do have the makings of a Telmarine king after all".

Caspian screamed, and instead of killing Miraz he plunged the sword into a bit of earth.

"Not one like you". He whispered. "Keep your life, but I am giving the Narnians back their kingdom".

Caspian then walked away from Miraz. The Narnians behind us cheered in triumph and a smile settled on my face. Caspian was more noble than I thought. He came up to me with tears in his eyes, so I hugged him and it was nice.

A yell from the circle made me turn and I saw Miraz falling to his knees, dead. Lord Sopespian was right next to him and I knew that he had killed the Telmarine. This was bad.
