I put the ring that my dad got me right before he passed away 2 years ago on and curl my hair applying some make up.

I grab my bag, hug my mom bye then drive off to school.
*los Angeles high school*
As soon as i walk in i hear welsey yelling at mr blake.
"SERIOUSLY MR BLAKE? HER OF ALL PEOPLE?" he screams
"Welsey, she's very bright and very sweet" mr blake says smiling.
"she's not exactly on my radar and she studies all the time" he groans
"Welsey, aren't you supposed to do that in high school?" Mr blake retorts
"Yes but i don't wanna" he complains
"You have to or else you won't graduate and no football" mr blake says crossing his arms.
I walk to my locker and can still hear them talking.
"Sir, She isn't on my level of coolness" welsey groans.
I gasp quietly and go over to them "jeez welsey tell me to my face on how you really feel next time yeah?" I ask going into the classroom
Mr blake shakes his head and walks in. I sit in the back left corner i don't like people at all, i grab my tablet and begin reading before class starts. Welsey comes in and sits in the desk next to mine.
"Hey uh rain?" He asks
"Surprised your sitting here didn't want you to catch my "uncoolness" or should i say my "dorky disease" i say putting air quotes around "dorky disease" and "uncoolness"
"Rain.. I'm sorry i said that okay? It's just you&me haven't even talked until now and-" i cut him off
"Look welsey what you said hurt honestly. I thought you were really cool and that this would be easy if i was gonna help you but no you have an issue with it" i say not looking up from my tablet.
"I really do need the help please rain" he begs.
"Sure. Only as a favor to mr blake" i say coldly.
"Rain......." he trails off.
"You can't take back what you said alright? I already knew we weren't on the same "level" or whatever but we have to put up with each other so let's try to be civil yeah?" I ask
"Okay. So see you in the library after this class?" He asks
"Mmmhmm" i say starting my assignment.
*after class*
"Hey rain!" Wesley beams
"Hey." I simply say sitting down and getting the books out.
As we are doing the assignment i notice welsey staring at my ring.
"Cute ring" he says half smiling
"Thanks. My father got it for me before he died 2 years ago" i say not looking up.
"Oh no rain I'm sorry" he says seemingly hurt.
"It's fine. He's in a better place than we are" i say.
After the first session it's time for the lunch session. Once that's over with we finish our classes and he heads to mine for the afternoon session.
*my house*
I take my glasses off and place them in the case. I wear them to read on wattpad/chapters/episodes ect. I sit down on my purple beanbag chair Wesley grabs the black one and sits next to me.
Again with this? I catch him staring again!
"Is there something i can do for you?" I ask.
"Yeah, kiss me" he jokes
I sarcastically laugh "no, then you'd really catch my what was it? Oh yeah "uncoolness" i say coldly.
"Why aren't you wearing your glasses?" He asks
"Because i use them to read i don't need them for assignments" i say.
"Oh" he says staring for the third time today.
"What?" I ask looking up briefly.
"You just uh look beaut- different without your glasses on" he says smiling
I roll my eyes and get back to work. Soon the session is over and wesley heads home.
