Summer Beauty
The summer sun shines bright
thy beauty in nature lies
how few will there be flowers on earth
If they be as beautiful as thee
If voices could tell of how loud
Silence is , how enlarged the rivers of love flow
thy beauty like the blue sky without cloud
and a summer morn spent in the garden
a thousand damsel cannot compare
With thy beauty mace, bright face
If we could spend the eternity in pair
I would choose to be with thee
Tis very strange, how I see nought
but thy love, shining from faraway horizons
our love would grow in the east, west, south and north
For they love surpass all dimension
On this terrestrial ball
have I spent some twenty years and three
but the years of thy love surpass all
for thy glorious grace gives life
I will tell the youngmen of thee
For I will sing thy praise, O beauty
Everywhere I go;land , air, or sea
For thy love has taken o' er me
