CHAPTER 4

Sorry guys there is a lot of dialogue in this chapter, but I personally don't mind that. Now... onto the story.

(Y/N POV)

''So you mean to tell me that I am now under two inches tall.'' I say, scrunching my eyebrows.

'' Yes...'' Says the guy that introduces himself as Ronin.

We were sitting in a smaller room with high ceilings, and a large door area though there was no door.

'' You know, part of me says that this is Kinda cool and the other part of me is freaking out.''

Ronin grins.

'' So what am I supposed to do now?'' I say throwing my hands in the air.

'' I don't know why the queen brought you here but it definitely seems different then the last time this happened...'' he trailed off.

''Last time!....What do you mean by that?''

'' A while back when the new queen was chosen, the boggens interrupted the ceremony...''

I raised my eyebrows at him quizzically.

He sighed ''Boggens are nasty creatures that live in another part of the forest.''

''Oh okay..... Continue.'' I reply nodding.

'' The queen had fortunately already chosen a pod...''

I stared at him again.

''A pod is the thing that selects an heir so that the life of the forest can continue. Now if you will hold your questions until the end I can finish my story.''

I fake a scowl.

'' We were ambushed, there was a chase, and we lost the queen in the fight. I couldn't save her so now I am extra careful.'' He finished the sorrow evident in his voice though he tried to hide it.

'' I am really sorry. She seemed very important to you.''

''She was... the people loved her.''

'' I....''

Our conversation was cut off by Finn clearing his throat, To be honest I don't know how long he had been standing there but from the look on his face I could tell he had gotten the jist of what we were talking about.

''One of the patrols just got back, they are requesting to speak with you.'' He informs Ronin.

'' Finn will show you to your room I will see you later when the queen is to see us.''

I nod to him in acknowledgement and follow Finn down the hall. Looking back only long enough to see Ronin turn the corner.

(FINN'S POV)

''She liked him I could tell even though they had only just met. I hope he can feel something for her, and I have no doubt that he does. Maybe the pain of loss would lessen if he did have feelings for her, maybe he could move on.''I think. ''It hurts my to see my friend in such a state. Hey maybe I can help the process along.'' I continue down the hallway grinning just thinking about it.
