Your mothers words (chapter 17)

Today was Saturday.. and you had just woken up.. the time was 6:00am.. you didn't want to be woken up at that time, but your body had other plans for you.

"Why am I awake at this hour.." you whined as you sunk deeper into your bed..

After a bit of sulking. You got up and headed down stairs.

But you didn't think you would be greeted by a certain someone.

"Mom?" You said confused as you walked down the stairs.

"Morning sweetie" your mother said tiredly as she gave you a smile and gestured you to sit down..

"Y/n.. we have to talk.." your mother spoke softly.. trying not to make you scared or confused.

You replied back with a simple question.

"What's going on?"

Your mother took a breath and faced back at you..

"So.. You know I work in business.."

You eyes widened.. you knew exactly what was going on.. your hand clenched in uncertainty..

Your mother saw you get nervous and she took ahold of your hands..

"I'm going to be traveling back to Canada.." she weakly smiled..

You didn't respond.. you weren't mad.. you were just nervous..

"Y/n.. you'll be fine.. I know you will.. if you have any issues you can call me kay? It will only be for 4-5 months and even shorter if we get ahead of schedule." Your mother gave you a reassuring smile..

Your hands softened as your mother held on to them.. you looked back up at her..

"Am I gonna stay here?" You asked your mother.. hoping there was a better answer then the one you suspected..

"Yes you will stay here.."

That's not really what you wanted to hear.. but you took a deep breath and replied to your mother..

"Ok.. I'll hold down fort here" you smiled as you got up to grab breakfast..

Your mother just sat there and kept talking to you for a bit.. and soon it was almost the afternoon..

You were doing homework when a memory suddenly popped into your head..

"Hey you can't do that to me- what the hell?" You said to Bakugo and you huffed at his sudden cliffhanger..

"I said 'never mind' idiot. Buzz off" he said flicking your forehead..

"HEY-"

"What was he gonna say anyway.." you said to yourself as you rested your head on your desk..

It wasn't intentional but you dozed off in a deep sleep.. you woke up 3 hours later.. the time was 2pm and you had just wasted many precious hours of homework and study time..
