Chapter 14: Pain & Pleasure

While the reunion party goes on very wild when Dollface's brother Isaac the Wight challenges both Eyeless Jack and Damien the Wight to a drinking contest as both Gabrielle & Ani's reaction grew worrisome when her boyfriend would do that, just like the similar time being over seeing Laughing Jack drunk alone in the kitchen with his oldest sister Dollface resulting the factor that Isaac will engage into an ugly warfare violence.
Kandy Kane however is looking for her boyfriend since she danced with him made her feel even more suspicious about Laughing Jack, getting very indecisive and impatient for him not showing up but minus being grossed out from Dollface kissing Kathy Shion. Not realizing that she is doing this for the sake of protection from Offenderman's perverted behavior, she went to both Lillian the Vampire & Jason the Toymaker so she can get answers from both of them. The result itself is not pretty.

Kandy Kane: "What do you mean you didn't see him?!" She exclaimed.
Lillian: She shrugged.
Jason: Calms her down "Woah! Calm down. I don't think that's necessary to shout at us like that."
Lillian: "I can agree more Jason... What are we talking about again?" She asked in confusion.
Kandy Kane: "Laughing Jack? The Laughing Jack?!" She questioned like it was a big problem.
Jason: He already know who he is "Yeah I do know him... But I'm not sure where he is." He answered to her.

Kandy Kane took off after Jason answered her question, she often remember the last person who knows where he is. She went to face with Kathy Shion by making a specific question with her in skeptical way possible, Kathy refuse to say to Kandy Kane because she doesn't want her to get emotionally pissed off.

Kandy Kane: "Where's my boyfriend?" She asked her a question.
Kathy: "You mean LJ? Uuuuhhhhh........." She responded with a puzzled reaction.
Kandy Kane: "Yeah him! Where is he?" She asked.
Kathy: She gulped, knowing she has to fess it up to her "Kandy?...... The last time he made an argument with Jill at the bathroom, he stormed off outside in the forest......" She spoke with an honesty.
Kandy Kane: "Thank you...... That's all I want to know..." She thanked her with a smile.

Kandy stormed off from the bar join and then tromping outside in the night with her high heels like straight out of Cinderella style in the forest, she is almost there when she spotted Doppelgänger showing up to the party at the mansion who looked confused from the start of seeing her in red and white; Striped ball gown dress. Like a heavy reminder from Tim Burton movie Sweeney Todd. He goes to confront her.

Doppelgänger: Was shocked in surprise that she's here "Cindy?......  Is that you?!"
Kandy Kane: She gasped that he's here "Alex?! What are you doing here?!" She cried as she turned around to face him.
Doppelgänger: "Heh, me?! I was asking the same thing?!" He questioned, feeling happy to see her.
Kandy Kane: "...............Me too........." She said in a sad tone.
Doppelgänger: He can tell the look on her face that she's depressed "I can tell that your still looking for him...... Are you?..." He asked with a suggestion.
Kandy Kane: "Umm no I'm not." She lied.
Doppelgänger: He chuckled in joking way "Yes you are."
Kandy Kane: Gasp of what she's hear, throwing her hands up in the air "Okay, you got me... I was just looking for Laughing Jack since he barely talked to me......" She answered with a little blush.
Doppelgänger: "AAAAaaaaand how did it work out for you then?" He questioned more.
Kandy Kane: "It ......... It didn't work out like how I imagine..................... All he ever had his eye on is one girl...... Like June......" She answered with a frown, but being kissed on the side of the cheek by him. Leaving felt flustered and surprised at the same time "A-Alex?...... W-What just happened?" She asked with a shy voice.
Doppelgänger: Gave her a little smirk "Just a little...... Quick pucker......Heheh. Or maybe giving you a big pick-up." He replied with a joke as he picked her up by her waist, carrying her with his shoulders to make her laugh.
Kandy Kane: Let out a laugh that Doppelgänger just did that, making her surrender herself to him "OKAY! OKAY! You got me too! Hahaha!!! Put me down, HAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!!" She laughed.
Doppelgänger: "What do you saaaaaaaaay~?" He questioned with a brow gestures.
Kandy Kane: "Cheerleader loves a linebacker." She quoted.
Doppelgänger: "Hahaaaa! That's right, now don't forget it." Laughed with a smirk.
Kandy Kane: She giggles over his gestures, finally let out a smile "Aaaaaaalrighty then......"
