Chapter 8: Welcome To The Team

On afternoon at the mansion, Jeff sat down on a couch alone with his black and red; Demon Husky companion named Smile Dog at the living room watching TV to see if there any news going on while trying to watch through as possible, trying to hear or see if there any sign of Slender's missing daughter even if he did burned off his own eyelids to make him stay awake but difficult for him to blink.
All he ever see on the news are nothing but destruction of building that has been destroyed by Pazuzu's creature they fought, letting out a sigh in brooding way that he had the most wild ride he ever went through. He used to be the most obnoxious, sadistic type of guy who took millions of countless lives for being hated and hunted down by his own rival named Jane the Killer who despises the possible outcome that he is responsible for murdering both his own parents and her own parents, but on the bright side she survive from the fire.

Now today, he had difficult time showing empathy since he met Jewel for the main recruit for the Slender team right at the beginning, last time Jeff ever see her is when he remember going on a first walk together in the Slender forest.
When he got off the couch to leave the living room to get something to eat from the kitchen, Nina jump into a surprise by making him startled.

Nina: "Heey Jeffy boo!~" She shouted with a flirtatious tone.
Jeff: He groaned in annoyance as he grab a piece of sushi container from the fridge and then closing it "What is it now?..." He complained by asking her a question.
Nina: "Just wandering how are you doing?~" She asked him in curious way.
Jeff: "Look Nina... Its none of your business." He said to her in sarcastic tone as he left the kitchen with his tray of sushi and sat down to eat it at the living room.
Nina: Followed Jeff around like a puppy and sat down right next to him "Aww come on, Jeffy!!~ There's something eating you up inside that's bothering you." She said with a statement.
Jeff: He starts taking a bite of his sushi "I'd rather not..." He mumbled under his breath as he taking one piece, and another by eating it.

While eating a piece of sushi as the two sitting down on the couch, he heard a loud scream coming from outside of the mansion somewhere in the forest while birds flew.
Jeff stood up on both feet and walk towards it to see what is going on from the window and stare at it, staring at it long enough to see it from there. His pair of eyes widened with surprise to an irritated expression on his carved face, he knew it was too good to be true... It was The Rake who appear from the outside and then ran off. Jeff put on a pair of combat boots and went to a library we're Slenderman is in, informing him that Rake is showing up. Slenderman made a beckoned call for Jane, Dollface, & Copycat to send 4 of them outside of the mansion to get a quick check to see if The Rake would manage to comeback for more. Since Slender's proxies are already far outside in the forest from his mansion for scouting.

Jeff complained of how Jane would be a total bitch enough to try to kill him and how Dollface would be a total stupid enough to pay attention of what's around her by having a lack of awareness, and how Copycat is far lazy enough to go after The Rake for herself. Slenderman scolded Jeff for insulting 3 of the girl's in this mansion especially the new rookie who look like she feel deeply offended of what Jeff name called her.

Dollface: Felt offended from being name called by Jeff.
Copycat: Rolled her eyes like her feeling didn't hurt.
Jane: "Oh really buddy boy? Says to an ugly ass Joker wannabe who likes to antagonize people. How pathetic when everyone you killed, hating you..." She roast him by being brutally honest, giving Jeff an attitude.
Snow: "Jane, that's enough! This is the last time we told you for this and we are expecting you two to get along. As if right now, you two should be apologize to each other when you get back from scouting. Including you Jeff." She spoke in a stern voice like a real mother would do.
Jeff: "Oh... Right..." He muttered in irritated tone.
