"i think it's stupid you make me have a babysitter. i'm 17," sam sighed.
"well, you don't decide. and you and colby get along, i don't see why you're so set on not having a babysitter today," his mom chuckled, ruffling his hair.
a knock on the door sounded and she perked her head up and walked over to the door. sam huffed and sat down on the sofa with his arms folded. last time the babysitter - colby - had came to the house, the two had an argument.
"do be polite and come say hello, sam?" his mom sighed before opening the door. sam stood up and groaned quietly, his mom greeting the brunette. he smiled sadly at sam, who gave him an angry glare.
"hi," the brunette smiled slightly, sam stood awkwardly. he didn't know how to speak to him after last time. they'd argued because the two had been in a secret relationship, and a girl had been sending colby some flirtatious messages whilst sam was taking stupid selfies on the brunettes phone. sam had read through the messages and saw that colby had messaged her a few times. it had ended in shouting, tears, and sam kicking colby out.
"h-hey," he lost all sense of social skills he'd ever gained in that moment. he was a mixture of sad and angry, now that colby was here again. sam just wanted him to hold him again.
"sam, you know where everything is if you need it, if there's any problems, do call me, colby," she smiled sweetly, him nodding with a smile.
"see you tomorrow," she smiled, me nodding.
"see ya tomorrow," colby smiled at her. his voice - sam missed it like mad. sam had blocked his number so he couldn't call or anything whilst they were separated, and it had been only a week.
"we need to talk about this, sam," was the first thing colby said, sam becoming teary eyed.
"no we don't. you want her, not me," he tried blinking away the tears, only making them fall. he quickly wiped his tears away, colby noticing and trying to pull him into a hug. sam sniffled and faced away from him, his arms folded.
"i don't want her. i want you," colby mumbled sadly, wrapping his arms around sam from behind. sam didn't say anything, just started sobbing and literally breaking down. colby tried shushing the boy, sitting down on the sofa with the small boy on his lap, sobbing.
"it's ok, it's ok. calm down, baby," colby kissed sam's forehead softly, calming the smaller boy down.
"i'm sorry," he sobbed softly, the sound breaking colby's heart.
"it's ok, i told you, it's ok. it's not your fault. i shouldn't have done it. and i can guarantee i'll never do it again, i promise. i love you, sam," colby held the boy close, planting a sweet kiss to his tear-stained cheeks.
"i love you too," he mumbled, colby wiping the tears away from his cheeks.
"are we still together?" colby asked, smiling softly. sam nodded with a soft giggle, sniffling.
"good, c'mere," colby chuckled, sam smiling. colby placed his hands on the small boys hips, kissing him softly. sam kissed the brunette back passionately, wrapping his arms around his neck and keeping the kiss going.
"i'm glad you came here today," the blonde sighed, resting his head on the others chest.
"me too," colby smiled, playing with the smaller's hair. he smiled happily and nuzzled against colby's touch, the two slowly moving to a laying position on the sofa, sam laying atop of colby.
"can we go cuddle upstairs?" sam asked, looking up at colby.
"yeah, c'mon," he chuckled, kissing the boy before he climbed off him.
