Third person pov

When akaashi and bokuto reached the festival they went to get some food first, they both just ended up getting mochi to snack on along the way.  "woahh its getting really crowded now huh?" "Yeah it is bokuto-san we should get to all the good spots before more people arrive"

Throughout the night akaashi noticed bokuto was a lot more fidgety than normal, he also messed up alot of his words as if he was nervous about something but akaashi decided it would be best he didnt bring it up and just had a good time.  The two walked past this area where there was a bin of mini round owls that had some type of soft sand in it that acted like a stress ball for 100¥ and 150¥ for two. Akaashi noticed bokuto staring at them when they walked by, he wondered why he didnt just get them so he decided to get both of them one for the memory.    "uh bokuto-san i have to go to the restroom just stay here for a bit till i come  back alright?"  Bokuto just aggressively nodded in response.

Bokutos pov

Maybe i should confess now, but that does seem a bit random, akaashi went to the washroom but he seems to be taking his time, people keep giving me looks since im kinda just standing in the middle of the crowd but i don't really care, and kaashi told me to stay so.
Maybe i should wait till the fireworks, but what if he rejects me and runs off what would i do ?!
This festivals getting a bit boring too.

Third person pov

After around 15 minutes akaashi was going back so he scanned around for bokuto and he found bokuto exactly where he left him, in the middle of the crowd.  Akaashi sighed but smiled softly at bokutos stupidity. 
"KAAASHHIII there you are!! What took you so lonnggg?!"  "sorry bokuto-san there was a line that held me up, its getting busy and the fireworks are starting soon so we should go and find a good spot"

When they got to the hill nearest to the festival there was so much people and nowhere to sit.
"hey kaashi?"  "hmm"  "do you wanna maybe just go where we went stargazing last time?"
Akaashi thought it was actually a great idea so he nodded and they went off.

Bokuto thought maybe it would be best if he didn't confess that night and just enjoyed the night while they could, he also thought itd be alot safer if he didnt.  Bokuto was very conflicted and confused, akaashi noticed so he tried bringing up conversations that would distract him along the way, they had to walk all the way to the hill which was pretty far from the festival since it was on the outskirts of tokyo.  It was getting cold and ready to snow anytime soon but they kept going since they thought theyd get the best view from the hill.

"I shouldve just worn normal clothes and jacket, its so cold" akaashi said as he shivered "me too!!!" bokuto practically yelled in akaashis ear.  At this point they reached they finally reached the hill, the hard part was getting up in their yukatas but they managed even though they nearly slipped too many times.   "woahh its so pretty up here!!" Bokuto said as they reached the top, "it sure is" akaashi smiled in awe of bokutos reaction and of the view.

They both just sat on the grass and watched the sky in comfortable silence as they waited for the fireworks to begin.  Bokuto opened his mouth to say something but shut it after thinking awhile of all the many things that could happen if he said something.  Bokuto wanted to confess, he really did but thinking about the consequences of it and ruining his friendship with akaashi was too much for him.
