Third person pov

It was now only 3 days before new years and two weeks since bokuto and akaashi went stargazing.  Since then bokuto and akaashi have been talking more often and were alot closer if possible.  Since they were on winter break they wanted to hang out today.

From bokuto( ＾∀＾)
Hey akaaaahshshssiii what time
Are you coming over?!????

Hi bokuto-san im gonna come over
At maybe around 2:30 ?

OK KAAAASHII JUST WANTED TO
MAKE SURE YA KNOW!

was that supposed to be a question or
A statement ?

huh ???

Nevermind bokuto-san ill see you soon

Akaashis pov

When i realized the time was 2:20 i quickly got ready and just slipped on grey sweatpants and a plain black loose shirt, i rushed out and said bye to my dad as he said "alright have fun, but not too much" with a wink, i just rolled my eyes and left.  The walk to bokutos house isnt too far and since ive been there too many times to count for study sessions i know the way like the back of my hand, i could probably get there in my sleep.

Third person pov

When akaashi got to bokutos door the time reached exactly 2:30.  He knocked the door in a specific pattern he and bokuto came up with to know its them (cause theyre dorks).   It was probably only seconds when bokuto opened the door.  "AHGAASHIII HIIII!!"  follwed by a "gosh bo i know your excited but let the poor guys ears heal from every other time youve done that"  by his mom.  Akaashi walked in laughing.

Akaashi soon got settled in, bokutos house was like his second home at this point and so bokuto and his mom came up with a genius idea.   "so what do you guys want for lunch?" Hana asked "isnt it a bit late to be having lunch?" Bokuto replied "yeah then what do you guys want for snack?" "uhh can we have onigiris then please?" Bokuto said, akaashis eyes lit up to that, bokuto noticed but didnt say anything since he didnt think it was too relevant to just bring up.

After finishing up their onigiris they got on the couch and started deciding which movies to watch for their marathon. Halfway through the movie hana came down and started cooking dinner since it was almost time to eat. During the movie whenever their shoulders would brush each others they would blush at the fuzzy feeling in their stomachs. "Ok guys its time for dinner!" Hana calls out "ok were coming" were heard from the living room.

During dinner akaashi took note of how bokuto and hana kept strangely looking at each other then looking at akaashi as if they were talking through their minds, but akaashi didnt say anything since its bokuto you never know, its probably just a normal thing at this point.
When they finished dinner and washed dishes, both hana and bokuto told akaashi to sit down because they have a 'surprise'.

Akaashis pov
I was told to sit down by hana and bokuto becuase apparently they had a surprise, im pretty nervous since ive never really gotten gifts or just anything from others other than my parents.  After waiting around 5 minutes a blindfold was put around my eyes, the next thing i know im being led outside for some reason.  Not gonna lie i am utterly confused right now.  After being led outside i hear the door shut and i hear bokuto yelling for me to remove my blindfold.  When i removed my blindfold, infront of me was a note taped to the door with my akaashi written on it, obviously by bokuto since the handwriting was sloppy as hell but i thought it was cute.  I opened the note to read 'akaashii!! hi your probably wondering what this is and why your outside, dont worry its all part of our plan ;)'
On the other side of the note it read 'if you wanna get in, you know how' i thought that that was the dumbest thing ive ever seen but it was adorable, maybe its like a scavenger hunt?
In fact though i did know how to get in, theres always a spare key hidden in this secret hole on the wall at the bottom, it sounds stupid but its a great hiding spot, even i couldnt see it.

I bent down to get the key, but what i pulled out wasnt the normal silver key, instead was a new key with two owls that look like me and bokuto with my name ingraved on the back.
o m g    theres no way
I was speechless, "THERES MORE IN THERE"
i heard bokuto yell through the window once again, i reached into the hole once more and felt another note, this note read 'since your practically family already we want you to have a key' this time it was written alot neater so i figured it was hanas.
I was in complete shock, my face was heating up and i felt like crying.

I use my new key to enter and as i turn the key to hear a soft click opening the door my heart flutters and feels like its gonna jump out of my body.  When i open the door i see hana and bokuto infront of me with the biggest grind on their face. Im so extremely happy i might just cry.

Bokutos pov
When he opened the door using his own key my heart rate sped up in excitement and happiness.  He stood there staring at us speechless for about two minutes till he shut the door and tears fell from his eyes, i was so confused but then suddenly i feel something warm wrapped around me, i snap out of my daze and see akaashi hugging me as tears fall on my shirt leaving water marks. "Heyheyhey kaaaashii whyre you crying" i ask, he gets up and gives my mom a quick hug before wiping his tears away, he grinned widely before saying "thank you so so so much, ive never really received something from a friend, let alone had one and now you guys are like my family, thank you so much, really" with tears in his eyes.    
As i heard the words come out of his mouth i started tearing up too without realizing and i pull him in for a big tight hug to prevent myself from kissing his tears away.

Third person pov
After a while of them hugging and akaashi giving his thanks they put on a quick one hour movie before akaashi had to leave, they all sat on the couch watching with the biggest smiles on their faces. Bokuto can feel his heart beating so fast and loud his cheeks turned pink in worry of the chance akaashi can probably hear his heartbeat.

That night bokuto and akaashi slept soundly with a smile on their faces.

Hihi sorry i havent updated ive been on vacation and just got back, sorry if this
is bad i wrote it on the plane back
I did make it a bit longer than usual though so yeah :)
im also planning on making a oneshot book when i finish this (^｡^)
