Book one: Number Eight, The Phoenix

C̷h̷a̷p̷t̷e̷r̷ ̷1̷ ̷-̷ ̷u̷p̷o̷n̷ ̷m̷e̷e̷t̷i̷n̷g̷

Vanya was out of control, the family - more so Five found out that Vanya was the cause of the apocalypse and had powers that their sister rumored away under the order of their father.
Currently the siblings were being drained of their life forces while being chocked by Vanya - she played her violin faster and the white glow from her clothing got brighter. She was going to explode and release her powers on the world killing everyone on it - including herself and them.
Allison moved you behind her sister - tears streaming down her face as she got closer. A gun was clinched tightly in her hand and before she could put it to use the auditorium door blew open with such force that even Vanya stumbled back some. Her hold on her siblings fell and they all fell down onto the floor below.
"You -" a female spoke from the entrance.
Her eyes glowed red and the aura surrounding her also glowed red. In a flash she was gone; only to appear this time in front of Vanya. Her hand quickly reaches out and she takes ahold of the other female by the throat. "Ahh -" crier Vanya.
"You're causing a lot of problems for me." Says the mystery female. The red aura surrounds Vanya and the two begin to float up over the stage. The moonlight shines down on the two females, and Vanya begins to make chocking noises as she tries to pray the other females hand from off of her but it's of no use. The siblings all exchange looks - so many questions run through their heads. Who is this female? And should they help Vanya? She was after all their sister.
Klaus snatches the gun from Diego's hand and start shouting up at the second females body doing his best to avoid hitting Vanya.
All the bullets hit their mark but the female doesn't look fazed at all. Her powers make quick work with healing her - it absorbs the billets into her skin before spitting them out. The siblings dodge the attack.
"We have to help Vanya!" Klaus says upon realizing his plan failed. "How? Their two high up!"
All everyone could do was watch in horror as Vanya's light dimmed in color. It was like the other female was sucking the life - Vanya's powers out of her.
Vanya's eyes begin to flutter close and that's when she feels her body drop. Luther moves quick and catches her body after flinging himself you onto the stage.
"There now that that's fine I believe my jobs done."
The female floats back down onto the stage but she wasn't getting away that easily. Allison points her gun at her, Klaus summons Ben, Luther just holds Vanya in a tight grip, Diego has his knives out and ready and Five is already in front of her, gun raised to her chest. "Who are you and what have to done to Vanya?!"
"Figures he wouldn't tell you -" this confuses the siblings but they don't let their guard down. "My names (y/n) - I'm Phoenix or are least that's what he called me, and I'm number eight."
