                  Violet's P.O.V

I woke up to the sound of buzzing, and rubbed the sleep out of my eyes, only to notice, it was not my alarm clock, it was my phone.

"Hello?" I said sleepily into the phone.

"Violet! It's Moxie, from the Daily Punctilio! I was wondering... can you come in? Our printing press is malfunctioning, and we need you help, so can you come?" Moxie replied quickly into the phone.

"Sure! I just gotta get ready for the day, so I'll be there in 20 minutes!" I said into the phone, excited to fix the printing press.

I quickly took a shower, got dressed, blow dried my hair, put on a little mascara, and hurried to catch the rickety trolley.

When I got there, I saw Moxie waiting right inside, and as soon as I reached the door, she opened it and said hurriedly, "Come in, come in, I'll show you to the printing press!" As soon as we reached the press, I began to examine it to see what could be wrong, and immediately found the problem. "There is a lot of dried ink buildup in the gears, your problem is, you just haven't been cleaning it enough!"

I then proceeded to clean the gunk out, and after that, my hands were filthy, so Moxie showed me to the nearest restroom, where I washed at least a milliliter of ink off my hands!

When I exited the restroom, Moxie handed me some money, and said kindly, "Thank you so much Violet, I'm glad you could figure out what was wrong, as I really think, as smart as we newspaper people are, we wouldn't have thought of that."

"I'm just glad I could help you out Moxie, it's the least I could do, as you helped clear my and my siblings names!" I replied cheerfully.

I was walking towards the door, and not looking where I was going, and bumped into someone carrying a stack of papers and commonplace books.

"Oh no! Let me help you pick this stuff up! It's totally my fault, I wasn't looking where I was going." I said as I picked up his things.

Then, as I handed the papers to him, I looked up into a pair of extremely familiar evergreen eyes.
