I was sitting tied upon the chair alone in the lighted room, my heart thumped on every roar of the clouds, it didnt matter to me that I had bigger problems than being scared of the lightening, I just wanted to be in Harry's arms at that moment

"oh harry" my eyes filled with tears on the thought that he must be really worried by now, and what about kids, I looked down at my pendant and I recalled what harry said when he first gifted me

It'll remind you of me whenever you're far from me (ch:8)

The door creaked open and the same man entered the room with a tray,

"you must be hungry" he said before placing the tray on the table, it had some macaroni and a glass of water, he sat on the ground in front of me

"mac and cheese" he smiled before bringing a spoonful in front of my mouth, I looked away his hand was hanging there for some seconds and he placed it back there

"you think I must be hungry, my family is in trouble because of you guys, my twins are two months old they need their mother for their meal and you think I must be hungry" I looked at him in disgust, looking for some shame or guilt in his eyes, but I got nothing

"I guess you aren't hungry" he got up and left the room, after a couple of minutes the door again opened and a very familiar face entered the room

"ah! James, what a pleasant surprise, I thought so" I mocked him, to offend any self-respect he had, he quietly dragged a broken chair and sat in front of me, looking down he intertwined his fingers

"you cannot even look into my eyes, can you?" I growled and he slowly lifted his chin to look at me his eyes were filled with tears, it didn't bother me

"look Jas— "

"oh I am looking at you, I am looking at the monster I left my Best friend with, you've betrayed everyone, you think you've done a great job in protecting your wife, just so you know you've broken her trust twice, I hope youre dead for her" I said and it did trigger his self-respect, he started sobbing

"care to explain the lies you been telling us all these months?" I stated and he sniffed on his tears

"look Jas, you would understand me because you did the same thing, Rayyan is a powerful goon, you quietly came here because you wanted to protect your family, I did it to protect mine, Alex is my family, my everything, he promised me that he will leave me if I helped him one last time" he explained, I did understand but there's no point of protecting your family in risking someone else's

"and you decided to ruin my life, instead of reaching out for better help" I faced the roof in annoyance and closed my eyes

"I'm really sorry" James said and I looked at him again

"really? A sorry? what do you think you've done? broke my pencil? a sorry? Does it fixes everything James? Does it fixes the trust youve broken?" I asked in annoyance

"look Jas, I would help you, if I could, I was promised to bring you here, I will try to escape you from here in any possible way" he whispered and I rolled my eyes

"another lie? you think I'll buy your story twice in a day" I chuckled, and he closed his eyes holding his temples

"can you open my hands? Or give me some water" I made a puppy face but he looked at me apologetically and gave me water instead, I took tiny sips and he fed me food afterwards, I ate it because I was dizzying out hungrily that moment. When he left the room, my sight fell on the ground, the broken pieces of glass gave me a hope to get out of the rope, I slid my leg towards the glass but I realized that my leg was annoyingly short, I tried to get up along with the chair to reach the glass but I couldn't, I struggled with the rope to the limit that it bruised my hands painfully
