Inside, Green examined his subjects and each and every one of their fighting techniques and skills, feeling a bit agitated as he realized none of them were quipped for a full on fight yet. Blonde bit his lip with his teeth slightly, his eyes finally drifting towards the foot of the fighting chambers, that had wall after wall of small, square mats with a white rectangle shaped LED light surrounding it, illuminating the white mat and all the rusted walls and pipes around it.
And what he saw at the edge was Rumi and Skylor flighting. He seemed to watch them for the longest, his emerald eyes judging their every moves. Green knew in his mind that they would be one of the lower ranking members, but he could see potential in them. He still was a bit edgy towards Skylor for how she teased him the other day, but it looked as if he had completely forgiven Rumi. As every passing hour he was lost in her, no matter how much she didn't do very well at a certain subject. He watched her practice more, his eyes glued on her.
He watched her shoot her fist out then Skylor dogde, then her lift up one of her knees to attempt to hit the female down who doged as well. Her body moved so gracefully, he wished he could just touch her and embrace her. His muscles tensed and he crossed his arms with his sweating palms gripping his biceps. Not wanting to get seen staring, he averted his eyes and looked towards David who gave him a soft retorting face of that everlasting anger that raged in his ink black eyes.
"Are they ready for a real fight?" He ran his hand over the buzz cut side of his head, closing his eyes for a second then crossing his arms.
"Not even close..." Mumbled an anxious Green, as he stared into and under the light the LEDs gave off, that would soon show splats of blood and tears.
Regardless of what Green said David grunted and called the first two opponents to the front. Which happened to be the first jumper, and last jumper.
"First jumper, and last jumper. In the front ring. Now, time to fight."Harumi's eyes widened and her head whipped to the side. Her hair that was up in a tight pony tail whipped gracefully over her shoulders, and she began to feel that queasy, anxious feeling inside of her again. Her heart raced, and all went in slow motion as she quietly approached the small, square mat in front of both of her. She bit down on her lip. Harumi lifted her chin to see her opponent was probably at least a whole foot taller than her. Her opponent was big, muscular, and clearly had the face of a fighter. She felt intimidated, and actually a bit fearful.
And compared to her, Harumi was quite petite and short. She was only 5'4....that made her gulp down a lump in her throat, and a cold tingle shot up her spine as both of them stepped onto the mat together at once. They took off their leather coats and shoes so that they were barefoot, the leather of the slimmly coated mat being unreasonably cold. Cold as ice, and that made her shiver. Though the other girl who's gaze tore right through Harumi's soul didn't seem affected at all. Even so that she asked with a booking voice.
