**This chapter will be a bit steamy and a bit rusty. The recent update on Cardinal becoming Papa IV and Nihil's sudden death has fueled my creativity for this book. Like I said, this one will hold more fiction in it than reality.**
It's the day after our wedding and excitedly the day of our honeymoon! We decided on a small get away to the mountains. It'll be secluded and nice and quiet. Just what we need.
"Hey hun, are you ready? I'll drive the first half." Alina says, shaking me from my thoughts. I look over to her and smile, she's dressed in black skinny jeans and an Ozzy T-shirt. Quite the opposite of yesterdays attire as I'm adorned in black pants, Faith No More T-shirt, and my leather jacket. We do make quite a pair.
"Yeah I'm ready, you sure you wanna drive first? I know you hate mornings." I ask. She chuckles back at me, gosh I love her laugh.
"I'll be fine, let's get going before Kaley begs us to bring her.""I heard that!" Kaley yells from upstairs.
With that we're both laughing as we rush out the door, Alina sticks her head through the door one last time, "Bye Kaley, take care of the house and Anubis! Don't burn the place to the ground!"

A couple hours later I wake up, I apparently dozed off.
"Hey sleepy head, I'm about to make our first stop." Alina says.
I rub the sleep from my eyes, "How long was I out for?"
"About an hour and a half, its 10:13 right now." She says as she pulls into a gas station.
I stretch, "I'll drive the next couple hours, not much longer till we're there, right?"
She nodes her head and smiles, "Want anything, I only stopped to get a drink, the tanks still pretty much full."
"Just a coffee will do." I say as I leave the car with her only to go to the passengers side, I kiss her cheek then she's off to inside the store.
My phone goes off. "Mom?"
"You sound shocked that I called."
"Well of course, you only ever call if there's a family emergency or when I'm about to start a new tour." I say.
"I called to congratulate you, I'm so happy you're finally married. When will she be coming here?" Or does she not know yet?"
I sigh, "No, she doesn't know yet. I haven't told her anything of it."
"Well you'd better tell her soon son, some people don't like surprises such as these." Pity in her voice.
I grumble, "What if I don't want to tell her? What if I don't want to put her through the ways of our family?"
"Then you shouldn't have married her."
"No, you shouldn't have had put this burden onto us!" I say clenching my teeth
"Your brothers before you have done it and you shall too, I cannot undue the ways of our family. It is tradition Tobias! She will come here and she will be put through the ceremony."
"Have a good day mom." I hang up.
****
Hours later we've finally made it to our cabin, close to civilization but not close enough for civilization to be a bother.
"How many days will we be here again?" I ask her.
"Precisely four!" She exclaims.
"Oooh, goodie!" I say as I swoop her up bridal style, "Just enough time for me to eat you up."
