I sat down next to him on the couch confused. He sighed and then looked at me sadly.

"You remember him right?"

"How could I forget? He's the one who put me through three months of physical therapy."

"Dave Miller isn't his real name Mae," he said after a brief pause. "His name is William Afton."

I paused and pulled out the last few letters I had received. They all had been signed by someone named William. My brain replayed that night at Scott's house. Dave has called me, "song bird". My brain zipped to the memory of when Mike gave me the clue, "you've met before".

"Dave Miller is William Afton."

Fritz nodded concered. He got down infornt of me worried. My head felt light and my eyes did not blink... until I fell forward off the couch and blacked out.

When I woke up, I was laying on the couch and Fritz was on the phone with what sounded like Mike.

"No, I mean... yes I told her... I don't think spying is..."

He looked down at me. He hung up and grabbed a water bottle out of the fridge. As he walked back in, I had unlocked my phone to text William.

"Who are you talking to?" Fritz asked setting down the bottle.

"William got my number from Jeremy yesterday. I'm done with this, I'm going to ask him what's going on."

I sat up and Fritz sat down next to me. I typed with uncertainty and anger, but Fritz seemed calm.

Hello Dave

Who is Dave little song bird?

Don't you play dumb you jerk!

I have no idea what you are talking about Mae.

Mhmm, we'll talk about this at lunch Mr. William Afton...

———
I pulled up to the small dinner twenty minutes before it was twelve. As I walked into the building, I saw him seated at a table reading.

"Hello Dave."

He looked up and smiled. "Hello Mae, I didn't think you be here this early."

I nodded and looked at him seriously. "What is going on Dave."

"Do you mind explaining?"

I pulled out my phone and showed him the messages. He looked confused and then stared at me.

"Are you accusing me?"

"Yes I am Mr. William Afton."

His face became glumy and he stood up dragging me outside to the parking lot. I could feel the fear and anger radiate off of him. As he dragged me away from the door, I understood... he was going to finish what he started then years ago.

"Let me go!" I screamed. "Help! Someone help me!"

"Shut up!" He said covering my mouth and dragging me over to a light purple car.

He opened the car door and tossed me inside. Before I could get to the other door, Will had climbed in and was pinning me to the seat. I reached for the car door, but my hand was pinned down. He reached to the front and pulled rope and a towel out of the glove box.

"Help! Somebody!"

He flipped me onto my somach and tied my wrists together and my ankles to the metal beams under the seat. He grabbed a bottle from a nearby box and then the towel covered my nose and mouth. As my eyes shut, I could hear one thing.

"Oh little song bird... you won't escape me this time."
