'Ugh. Another day at this crappy school.'
I looked the front building up and down and made my way in, trying my best to avoid the stares from boys who keep trying to hunt me down. But I don't let them, instead I flip them off and give them the death stare, which somehow works every time. I look out for my best friend who is always late. I get my books from my locker and make my way to homeroom and wait for Bobbie. As I sit down in my seat I hear a thud from outside the door. I rolled my eyes, Yep she's done it again. Tripped over the same bump in the carpet for 3 days straight now. I can't help but giggle as she struggles to pick up her books, after what feels like 10 minutes, she opens the door and drops her books down on the unoccupied space of the double desk I'm sitting at. "Hey bitch how're you?" I giggle at her greeting. "Not too bad, thanks Bobbie, how about you?" I noticed her eyes were wide with excitement "I'm amazing!" She's bubbling with joy "and why would that be?" I chuckle as she lets out her squeak of a response "my crush likes me back!" She blushes as she tells me. "That girl from your science and math class?" They're so perfect together of course she likes Bobbie back. My best friend; the one girl who could get anyone's attention without fail and could date whoever she wanted, her curly, auburn shoulder length hair, her soft ginger freckles sprinkled along her cheeks and her curious hazel-brown eyes made it hard for anyone to reject her, she always wore unique clothes that everyone admired. Her style complimented her perfectly, she always had a new interesting hairstyle each day. She was also the best friend anyone could ask for; fiercely loyal and protective of me, always cheering me up and making sure I'm ok in times of need, and she knew exactly how to communicate with me without words. It feels like I've known her forever, when in reality it's only been 4 years, But in those years I've had the best time of my life. "Yes that girl! Her name is Bea and She's adorable and very talented" she gushed thinking about the new crush that I knew wouldn't last very long, or would it? "You two are perfect for each other, I ship it so much" I'm happy she's found someone just as Valentine's Day is around the corner. But as usual, I don't have anyone to spend it with. "Aw thanks Ro" her nickname for me always made me smile, my name is Rose but she shortened it to Ro. "Hey I heard there's a new guy arriving today, I think his name is Levi, maybe he'll be the one this year" she suggested hopefully. I lay my head on the desk and told her "You know how it goes. They're all the same and they never like me" I had lost my hope in love a long time ago.
A few moments later the classroom door opened and Bobbie looked up and gasped, then she shoved me with her elbow "Ro!" I looked up and the whole world froze as we made eye contact. a guy with the most gorgeous pair of green eyes I had ever seen stood right there.
