Asher Grey's POV:
It was very unusual for it to rain in the month of February here in Chicago....but the rains always helped me compose the best of my songs...So as I sat in my balcony with my mug of hot chocolate humming random tunes ,strumming the chords of my guitar her face suddenly flashed infront of me...those blue eyes of hers which were so full of grief had pierced my heart so badly.....her wavy brown hair tied up in a loose bun...her lips were curved in the most perfect way ....I remember when she came up to me and said Thank you at the end of her mothers funeral ceremony all i could do was give her a nod while the other choir members said some comforting words to her....She was so beautiful I wanted to know her more....I wanted to know her name,I wanted to be there to comfort her, I still couldn't figure out why i felt so connected towards her.
I tried to brush away those thoughts thinking that it had no future and tried to focus on composing my song...It was almost 5 pm and I had to leave for work the thought of which made me sick...I worked in a Cafe which my dads brother George owned...Dad got a heart attack and passed away when i was 12 leaving behind me and my Mum...Mum worked 2 jobs trying to support our family so I worked part time to help her about with the finances....Even though George has been a monster to me the past 13 years I'd still work there as dad and I shared some fond memories there....Sometimes I wish he'd still b around supporting me and my passion for music,I always wanted to be a singer, dad even bought me my first guitar at the age of 7 .....now all I had left of my passion was singing at the church choir and composing some songs during my free time..My ultimate Goal in life had become to earn enough money that would keep my mum happy and let me get in to the NYC music contest so that I could finally attain my dream of being a singer
