Baron looked everywhere. He couldn't find her. After so long he found a life, a small house where they were living a quiet life and yet everything was starting to fall apart. Everything was for naught but that voice. That voice came back to him. The voice asked him to go back to his home town and he shall see his wife and his child. Without thinking he left for his hometown.
Baron was late. There was a big stake in the middle of the town. Gabriella was tied to it and his daughter placed in a casket on top of it. The fire from below was rising high and her screams and his daughter's cries echoed till their last breath. He recognized those faces. The faces of those who wanted to kill her. "Alvarez?" He spoke without even knowing what it meant and thus a voice, a different voice spoke to him. "Do you seek revenge?" The voice spoke.
"Yes." Baron said.
"Then spill your blood and call my name again."
"Alvarez." Baron spoke. His eyes burned and his ears fell off, his nose shattered and his senses disappeared while his body was being possessed by Alvarez, his emotions were going wild and that night was the bloody night which painted the town red and rivers carried the message forward.
Screams echoed around the thick walls of this town. The sound ricocheted from wall to wall and from ceiling to floor before making the return trip to blend with the continued agonizing sounds. Cries that tore at the heart. Screams of agony that echoed the pain that wracked their bodies. Wave after wave echoed through the darkness heading straight at them. Silence. Darkness. A light. Darkness. The light again. Baron was floating in darkness. Drops of blood bathed him in delight. Distance screams filled him with amusement. And the taste of their flesh tearing apart made him whole.
Blood and flesh were everywhere while the air smelled of acid and rotting flesh. Dead bodies laid everywhere spread out while they ran for their lives, men, women, elderlies and children had been killed. The livestock were slaughtered and pools of blood were everywhere. He sang a song inside this darkness. A pleasing one which aroused him, filled him with excitement. Baron also felt hunger piling up inside him. While there was nothing to eat he started to understand the darkness which surrounded him. And he started to tear it apart and eat it. His teeth started to rot and the darkness started to leak out of his own body in the form of liquid which constantly slithered out through his mouth. Everytime he threw it up, he tore more darkness and started eating it. And everytime he ate it, he became less and less aware of himself. As if he was losing his sense of ever being a human, having a language and only spoke in broken terms. He became a puppet, a messenger who only delivered what was needed and broke as soon as his work was finished waiting for another time to come to him where he could deliver Alvarez's message again.
Countless bodies piled up. Countless torso's were placed in a perfect circle in the middle of the town, between them were hands placed in a perfect circle and between them were legs forming a perfect circle. In the middle of it all were countless heads pierced on a long pole and placed in the center. It was horror placed upon this land by a force unknown. Baron lost everything to summon Alvarez and in return gain everything from him. The town was never opened for others to step foot in and is still considered unholy. Despite Alvarez leaving the town, the Vatican suggested to close it off and probably destroy and bury the town down to its very core. The town still stands, but a high wall stands surrounding it.
Baron also found his father and sacrificed his soul to Alvarez as some lowly fodder, but her mother became a source, a new vessel to attract more souls around her. Despite her cruel intentions she was the perfect sacrifice. The one that bears hatred and sympathy towards everything.
Baron became the messenger and gatekeeper of Alvarez. And he still serves him to this time.
