I've been dreading this day all summer. It makes it worst that its raining , like what the hell Washington.
I brush my teeth and wash my face. I took a shower last night before mom and her boyfriend got home. They don't like it when I use things without permission.
I got back to my room quietly trying to wake them but its a fail when I see Devin on my bed.
"Where were you?" I shudder at his harsh voice.
"T-T-The bathroom . I didn't take a shower I swear!"
"Are you lying? " Technically I'm not . I took one last night.
"No, daddy."
Without another word he leaves. I rush to lock my room door. I hate how he tries to control me but I'll deal with anything to make my mom happy. I don't understand how she's happy with him but the beatings are worth it.
I dress myself in a black tank and ripped blue jeans. Pretty basic I think but I'm not impressing anyone.
I throw a plain black hoodie over it with black uggs .
I check the mirror to see if any of my bruises are showing.
I unlock the door and run downstairs to the kitchen. I grab my car keys, a granola bar and my black book bag.

..

I always dreaded this . I don't wanna see him. When I get to school I park my truck far away from everyone else's.
Everyone always judges me. They call me prude, prissy, and snob.
My mom is not that rich shes just a big saver but people judge me based on her choices. I don't know why they are in my business anyway, they don't like me so why talk about someone you don't like. My name stays out of your mouth and same for me.
I walk through the halls with my earbuds in and head down. I block the world out with my earbuds like any other typical teenager.
When I get to my locker he's already there. This is the exact thing I was dreading but I'm a junior now and I need to stand up for myself but I'm not sure if I can do it to him.

"Miss Me?" His taunting words ring in my ears.

....

YES I UNDERSTAND THESE ARE SHORT BUT JUST WAIT UNTIL IT MOVES FASTER .
