Birthday madness. Part 1
HannahToday is my big day. I am officially eighteen! My mom is out of town with her new 'boyfriend' so I decided to stay the night with Sammy and Katie. We had so much fun last night talking about boys and baby names. The girls always make me laugh till I cry with there outlook on life. After hours of talking we started watching F•R•I•E•N•D•S to which I fell asleep after half an episode.
This morning we have decided to go shopping so We are currently getting ready. I'm wearing a blue Maxi dress one of my favorites because it has pockets. Wanna know what makes the perfect dress? Pockets. Yep you heard me, if you have a not so nice dress that makes you think, I'm not to big of a fan of this one, then you find out it has pockets. That dress just went from a three to a nine in two point five seconds.
"Hannah, birthday girl, are you ready to go." Samantha asks walking in the spare bedroom.
"Yes ma'm I am. Today is going to be a great day." I say smiling down at my little bump.
" I still can't believe you are eighteen definitely not fair." Katie says in a fake pout causing Sammy and I to laugh.
"We will be eighteen in a couple months then we can all buy lottery ticket and throw even more money down the drain." Sammy says patting Katie in the back.
I just shake my head walking past them. They are to crazy.
Once we were all ready we jumped into Sammy's car heading to the mall.
Cutie- hey beautiful happy birthday. Can't wait to see you later.
I look down at my phone smiling as a text from Grant popped up. I would most likely stay with him tonight cause mom was out of town. Ending my birthday alone at home didn't sound like something I wanted to take part in.
I was still a little uncomfortable with the whole meeting the parents and pregnant ex girlfriend thing that went on yesterday but I had to trust Grant. If he said the kid couldn't be his then I believe him. If his parents don't like me then that's okay too. They just won't get to see out little joy as much till they do. I don't want anyone talking bad about me to my own child.
We find out what we are having In exactly four weeks. To say I was excited would be an understatement I'm impatient. I wanna know now. I keep thinking boy but a part of me also says girl. I'd be happy with either I just wanna know.
"I love this song" Katie tells blasting the radio as she screams the lyrics.
"Picture-perfect, you don't need no filter
Gorgeous, make 'em drop dead, you a killer
Shower you with all my attention
Yeah, these are my only intentions
Stay in the kitchen, cooking up, cut your own bread
Heart full of equity, you're an asset
Make sure that you don't need no mentions
Yeah, these are my only intentions" she yells definitely out of key.I just shake my head as I started texting Grant back replying to his text from earlier.
Hannah- hey cutie, I can't wait to see you later the girls are defiantly being crazy. Wanna pick me up at the mall. We are heading that way now so not sure if Ill be able to get them out of there in time. Also please save me Katie is singing Justin Bieber at the top of her lungs way off key.
I laugh to myself as I push send.
"No cap, no pretending You don't need mentions Got them saying "goals", they don't wanna be independent Tell them to mind your business We in our feelings It's fifty-fifty percentage Attention, we need commitmentWe gotta both admit it It's funny we both listen It's a blessing 'cause we both get it You the best thing and I don't need a witness I'ma find me a ring and pray it's perfect fitted" Sammy sings.
