MY Legend Of Korra

Book 1 : welcome to republic city avatar !

Korra , a 17 year old girl , from the southern water tribe and a complete avatar ! (Look at the main pic to see her clothe and hair)

"All these years held in here ! Learning the four elements ! Never had friends ! I thought the avatar was an exiting thing and should be socially experienced and must have a team or something , like all the past avatars ! And all the white lotus kept sayin : you can't leave , avatar aang wants you to stay here at least till you are ready to face the world. Well I'm ready but no one trust my abilities , I'm a good bender , I know all four elements and I'm spiritually prepared ,why am I still in here ?!" Korra thought

Then she decided it's time to escape this place , she's almost 18 years old , she knows that her parents trust her and won't argue her if she told them . It was 4pm ,Korra entered her room and tried to sleep

"If I want to escape to republic city , I need to use my water bending to get there , and I'm not going to leave naga here alone I'll miss her ! so I better sleep , I'll need all the energy i can get to arrive there!!" Korra thought falling asleep

Korra's POV

I woke up by the sound of my mom calling me

"Korra , honey , wake up , dinner is ready ! " mom said
I love my parents they are good and love me and understands me but they are too protective especially my dad

" hunh ?!!....W-what !??.... Oh hi mom .... Is it night already ?" I said trying to open my eyes

"Looks like you slept , were you tired? " She asked

"No , I was just thinking about something and I think I fell asleep , so did naga " I said . Naga , my polar bear dog, was sleeping on the floor

"Now come on , get up , dinner is ready and katara is going to have dinner with us " she said

"R-really ??!!" I said a little sad hopefully mom didn't notice . I love katara but I was planning to escape tonight , and tell my parents about it at dinner time.
Katara was a member of the previous team avatar , I think she'll understand . She's experienced about traveling around the world, maybe she'll give me some advice , she's the most powerful water-bender and my teacher , maybe she'll teach me something important before I leave I thought

I woke naga up , so she could eat , she'll need energy if she's going to travel with me !

I walked at the dinning room to find all my favorite food on the table , and katara and my parents were waiting for me, I bowed a little respecting my waterbending teacher

" No need to bow Korra , it's ok . How are you doing these days ?"

"Hello katara, I'm doing fine , what about you ? " I said sitting on my usual chair . It was in front of katara's

" I'm fine too" she said smiling at me

We then said a prayer to the spirits to bless this food , and we began eating . It's kind of funny to have all my favorite food before I leave I thought. I was eating slowly with a sad face katara noticed in the middle of the dinner

"Looks like Korra , have something to say but she's afraid to do it !" Katara said then my parents looked at me , and I blushed nervously

" M-me n-no I-i have nothing to say !! " I said nervously , I'm not very skilled at acting or hiding something.
Katara smiled at me and murmured in my ear

" I know you want to leave to republic city , you need at least to tell them , and I'll make sure they don't tell anybody !" She said

"How did you know that " I said in a loud voice, everyone can hear
