Enjoy this photo of how I picture Meatloaf. I think it's pretty darn accurate. Maybe with a slightly blockier head though."Are you going out somewhere?" Vivi asked as you got ready to leave.
The week flew by. Classes and work had you busy once again and before you knew it, it was the weekend again. Killer had made it a habit to sit by you everyday in your shared class and try his hand at small talk with you. You had to admit, he was adamant and it was working. You were relaxing around him when it was just you two chatting and willing to open up a bit around him. Heat was still the easier of the two for you to deal with though.
Killer had been nice to you, but he was a bit intimidating. He had much more confidence than his friend and held himself differently because of it. It made him speak differently too. Heat just felt more relatable to you.
"Yeah. Heat invited me out. We're going on a hike." You pulled the small bag you carried over your shoulder.
In it, you had some water, snacks, and a collapsible bowl for Meatloaf. Yep, Heat was nice enough to suggest you bring the pup as well. Of course he was excited for an outing, bouncing around the dorm and dragging his leash around.
"Sooooo it's like a date?"
You blushed. "N-no, we're just friends!"
"Okay." She raised her hands in a quick defeat and giggled. "It just sounds like a date to me is all."
"I don't get guys as easily as you do." You smiled.
The guy she had mentioned a couple weeks ago had already taken her out on a couple dates. His name was Koza and he seemed to be a nice enough guy. A little rough around the edges, but nice. You'd met him once and he wasn't all that bothered by your awkwardness.
"Guy you mean." She said, rolling her eyes. "Just Koza. I don't think I could handle more than one guy trying to date me."
"Yeah, that sounds like a lot of work."
You called for your dog as your phone dinged. Heat was letting you know he was ready to go.
"We'll be back.... eventually." You said, not even sure how long of a hike this was supposed to be. "I'll keep you updated so you know I haven't died a terrible death at some point."
She laughed. "Thank you~"
You left and headed down to the nearest school parking lot where he said he'd be. While you had a small car, he drove an SUV apparently. It would have an easier time getting to the off road area than your vehicle would so he offered to drive.
You were happy to see him ready to go, leaning against his cherry red vehicle. It was a little older, scuffed and scratched up in some places but it looked reliable. You were a little surprised to see the rest of his friends gathered around as well. Heat didn't mention that they were coming along too. It didn't bother you, it just caught you off guard.
"I hope you don't mind us coming along." Killer said, as if he was reading your mind. "We all couldn't pass up the opportunity to get out for a bit. Home gets a bit stifling, you know?"
"Yeah, that's no problem, I get it."
"Sorry (Y/n)." Heat gave you an apologetic look. "They really wanted to come with."
"It's really no problem." You smiled. "The more the merrier, right?"
Kid scoffed as he went around to the passenger side and hopped in. "Are we going or what?"
Meatloaf barked in agreement. He was ready to go do something.
Everyone piled in. Heat was driving, Kid already had the spot by him taken up front, while Wire, Killer, and you sat in the back with Loaf. The arrangements were not too bad. Killer sat at one end with you at the other. Wire was in the middle with your pup in his lap. The men all seemed to like your dog and had no problem accomidating him.
