You don't know how he did it, but Heat held you up the entire length of the show without even trembling from the strain. That had to take some serious strength. When he put you back down, the shift in height was a little disappointing, it was fun being tall for that short period of time.
The rest of the day continued with you two bouncing around from one show to another and finding more stands to explore. The whole time he kept a hold of you by the hand. It had honestly began to feel like a date and you were more than happy to let yourself believe it was one. Fantasizing never hurt anyone after all.
Night eventually settled in, bringing even more of a chill to the air than before. It was enough to make quite a few people scamper home for warmth and you and Heat were no exception to that. You stayed for a little after dark, but it got to be a bit too much for you after a while. Both of you didn't mind leaving anyway, you'd seen pretty much everything the festival had to offer.
Walking back to the car, you didn't miss that he was still holding your hand even though you'd left the crowds far behind.
"I hate to say it, but we're lucky Killer couldn't go to this." You said.
Heat chuckled. "He'd be happy knowing we had a good time."
"You think so?"
You stopped beside his car and he slipped his hand out of yours.
"Hey, uh, can I ask you something?" He suddenly looked nervous as he glanced around.
"Sure, is everything good?" You furrowed your brows in worry.
"No, yeah everything's fine." He shook his head and took a deep breath, finally looking you right in the eye. "I just... I like you a lot and I wanted to know if you'd want to be more than friends."
Holy shit this was a date. He wasn't just holding your hand to keep an eye on you. Heat liked you too. Is this what winning the lottery feels like? Some sort of boyfriend material lottery?
"I was afraid you didn't like me like that." You said in an almost whisper.
"Is that a yes?"
You rested your back against the car as he bent over you, one hand brushing your cheek while the other tipped your hat back enough to get a better look at you.
"Yeah."
Heat let out a sigh of relief as he pressed his lips to yours. You took your chance to do something you'd wanted to for a while and wrapped your arms around his neck, allowing your fingers to dive into his hair. You thought things couldn't get any better today but you'd been proven wrong. This right here made you day.
There were a couple wolf whistles and cheers as a group of people passed by on their way to their own vehicles.
"I see you gettin' that!" A man laughed as he went by.
You just smiled into the kiss while Heat chuckled. Though he did end it a little sooner than you'd hoped.
"Time to head home?" He asked, licking his lips.
"Sounds good." It came out breathy and excited.

The plan originally was to go to your dorm since it was on the first floor, but you had to turn that down when you remembered you didn't have any kind of protection there. You'd have to get on something later now that you had a shot at a sex life.
So the two of you stumbled into his dorm, stuck in a lip lock as he was trying to tug your jacket off. If you were going to be a thing, you didn't plan on giving that back to him anytime soon. There was the sound of someone clearing their throat as Heat pushed you into the back of the couch, nipping at your lips and practically begging for more. The noise was enough for him to pull away and look in the kitchen to see Killer standing there in nothing but a pair of shorts with a glass of water in hand.
