The air was thicker as of lately ever since a virus has been spreading throughout the southern states. It was coming from a beer they drink all the time. Who would of that that a virus would have been caused by Budlight beer of all things. It was bringing out a certain level of weirdness in everyone who drank it. Everyone who drinks it feels an intense urge to write a love letter to their crush. Anyone who doesn't fall through with writing a love letter and delivering it falls severely ill within a few a matter of a couple of hours...
Mason and his Identical twin sister Melanie were hosting a small get together out in the forest. It was only going to consist of him, his sister, and their friends Connor Kenfield and Savannah Fields. They are the type of people who believe they are Invincible. So they figure it would be wise to drink the Budlight beer despite the fact many people have fallen ill because of it.
He stumbles from the trees trying to locating their party spot. They have had dozens of parties out there over the years. All four of them have been best friends since like elementary school. The heat of the south was already bearing down on anyone who dares step foot outside. Most people right now are crowding the churches praying for the gods to save them. Anyone else is either out partying like them or getting rid of as many bottles and cans of Budlight they can. Mason finally makes it to the spot that his sister has already set up. All they have to do now is wait for the others to show up.
The minutes pass by quickly making them wonder If their friends were even coming. Before that thought could be finished though they heard twigs snapping as their two friends make their way to where they were. Mason and Connor greeted each other by doing a chest bump. This makes the girls roll their eyes at their antics. Connor holds up a twenty-four pack of Budlight and places it on the table with the rest of the snacks and drinks. Everyone's eyes gleam at the thought of cracking open some good ole beer.
Savannah picks at her nails trying to clean some dirt out from them. She looks up at her friends with a small smirk playing on her lips. The words coming from her lips hold a slight southern twang as she says "Are we just going to stand around like statues or are we going to drink some beer y'all?" That was all it took for them to crack open the case of beer.
Everyone grabs a couple of bottles before sitting in a circle on the ground. The smiles spreading on their faces as they open up the bottles and take a swig of beer. The sun above them with its harsh rays drift behind some clouds. It was like the world knew that this was not going to be a good evening.
Connor couldn't help but let his eyes drift over Mason's muscle body. Seeing the way his muscles seem to ripple underneath his shirt. There was just something about him that causes his heart to race. Though his friend will probably never know how he feels about him. With these thoughts playing on his mind he continues to chug his beer looking away from his friend.
Mason's thoughts were actually quite similar to Connor's. His mind was playing over the thought of how it would be If Connor knew he likes him and liked him back. Taking a big gulp of his Budlight he sighs letting his tongue swipe over his lip making sure not to waste a sip.
Melanie was already thinking about the way Connor's body would feel against hers. The way her thoughts were causes heat to engulf her as she chugs her beer trying to cool herself off. Nobody seems to notice the way she was staring at Connor with a hunger in her eyes.
Savannah's thoughts were focused solely on the twins despite how attractive Connor is. A soft groan almost slips past her lips as she thinks about how it would be with them. She could already see how soft Melanie's lips look and of course Mason's strong hands.
They joke around as they drink their beers not having a care in the world. The whole group thought the virus was just a scam the people at Corona Beer headquarters made up to make more sales. Unfortunately, that was not the case because the Budlight virus was quite real and they are about to figure that out.
A few hours pass without any issues or so they each think. Their thoughts becoming increasingly vivid as their bodies start to ache. The truth wants to be out but they're already trying to fight against it all while thinking each other is just fine.
Mason groans out running just fingers through his hair and leans against the ground trying to calm down. His thoughts keep playing over in his head thinking about Connor. The more the thoughts pop up the more his body starts to ache at the urge to reveal how he feels.
Everyone looks at him with mixed emotions in their eyes but the main one they had in common was fear and realization. His eyes widen seeing them look at him and the emotions that shine in their eyes. They all seem to come to the same startling realization that The Budlight Virus is real and they all have it. It was too late for all of them because the house was too far away. They can tell how they feel all they want but it only matters written as an old fashioned love letter on paper.
Mason crawls over to Connor embracing him tightly not wanting his life to end without having him in his arms. The end has finally arrived for them.
