Chapter 8

Gian's P.O.V.

I can't hide this anymore. I want to confront Eanna and tell the truth.

But, because I am sheepish I can't

What if I just comfront Joaquin, because he is courting Eanna

So he can stay away from Eanna already.

As I am planning what I will say to Joaquin....

I saw Eanna and Joaquin passed by.

I was about to go in their direction and excuse Joaquin first to Eanna to give us time to talk.

But, when I saw them there are sparks in their eyes which causes me not to tell my true feelings for Eanna anymore.

They stare at each other for how many seconds.

So, I think I should not tell my feelings for her, huh?

Days past and I am thinking what if I confront Joaquin.

Now, finally. I have a strength and voice to tell the truth.

Since Eanna is in the auditorium practicing. Now it's my time because Joaquin is just alone.

I go near and he was shocked when I talk to him

"Joa...joaquin, c..can a..I talk to you?" I said with a shaking voice.

"Sure. What is it about?" He ask me with a smile.

"I'll confront you about Eanna. I like her since we were 13. But I can't speak it out because I am scared that maybe because of that our  friendship wil be over. That's why I just hide it for how many years. I just had strength to tell it because I don't want her to have a boyfriend until she don't know I love her."

The smile faded in Joaquin's face when he heard the things I said. His face became blank.

"Joaquin, don't worry. She is all yours. All I just want is to let her I love her before I fly going to California tomorrow."

He got more shocked with what I've said.

"You will go in California?" He ask me with a conscious face and voice.

"Yes. Please make her happy." I said.

"Bu----" He was about to say something but I cut it immedietly.

"No if's or but's. Just make her happy."

He just nod as an answer

Now, I can now go in California without a heavy load in my heart and mind.

Tomorrow is my flight.
