5. Daddy's Office

Aaron is not the first person I want to see when I get to school but he's waiting on my parking space. He might not have molested me at the club but the fact that that he might have went on and fucked me whilst I had been out of it makes me pissed.

"Uhm, Kam. May I please talk to you?" He asks, his eyes looking everywhere but at me.

I've never known Aaron to be nervous or even shy.

"I have class, Aaron."

"It'll just take a minute."

My friends stand behind me to let me know they're there for back up. I'm glad because my opinion for Aaron is ranging in the negatives right now but something in his expression makes me want to hear what he has to say so I tell them they can go.

"You sure?" Ja asks.

I know he'll lay a dude down if I ever ask him but Ja wants to be a lawyer and I don't want him to blacken his record with something as silly as a high school fight.

"Yeah, I'm sure," I smile then kiss his cheek to show him I appreciate his concern.

"Did you drug me?" I ask Aaron as soon as my friends leave.

"What? No. Someone drugged you?"

He seems genuinely shocked.

"You mean you didn't see I wasn't myself that night?"

"No, I mean I did but I just thought you were a little tipsy. I wouldn't have come onto you otherwise, Kay I swear. I even regret kissing you knowing you were not completely sober."

"Why did you do it then?"

"I just...I missed you I guess? But I wasn't going to take it further than a kiss."

He seems genuinely remorseful but I can't trust my judgement. People lie all the time and I'm not one for unravelling lies.

"I accept your apology. But this," I gesture between us with my hands, "Whatever we had, it's over. Stay away from me, Aaron. I'm serious."

I now understand why people say hooking up with your ex after a break up is a bad idea.

After the drama with Aaron I go back into class and of course I'm late. I'm too exhausted to even turn flirty Kam on enough to make Tandlich uncomfortable so I end up with detention. Swell.

Since my mind is not in the lecture anyway, I take my phone out and text Dominic.

Are you in your office today?

Daddy Dom : Yes.

I'm coming.

Daddy Dom: You have class.

I know, but...I need to see you. Please?

Daddy Dom: Do you want me to send send Simon for you?

No, I'll drive.

Seeing Aaron just brought home how vulnerable I had been on Friday and it's making me feel cold, wretched and out of sorts. There's only ever been one person who can soothe me when I'm feeling raw and exposed.

As soon as the first lesson ends, I'm at the door and walking towards the parking lot.

"Uhm bitch, class is this way," Jer says hurrying to catch up with me.

I stop to face my best friend.

"I'm skipping."

He frowns as he looks at me more closely. Humor disappears from his face and concern shines from his beautiful blue eyes.
