The after effect

Kurt had taken Sebastian back to his apartment. There was nothing funny going on but it seemed like however much Sebastian had to drink had caused this little meltdown and well if anyone saw him in the school halls he would get in big trouble. It's not like Kurt was taking him out of the town or anything because some of the teachers had an apartment on campus, as well as off if they needed one because it was closer during the week and if they were head of one of the dorms it served well for the weekend. Since Kurt was a single gay man who didn't have a curfew since he was 24, he was the head of Windsor dorm.

Once they arrived Sebastian was still crying softly and mentioning how sorry he was. "Hey Sebastian you have nothing to be sorry about. I promise. It's okay." Kurt cooed although he knew how much trouble he could get in for this. If he was being honest he was goading Sebastian back to scandals tonight and he purposely walked into the bathroom. Not to be creepy but to protect him. Hooking up with random guys especially when you're underage is seriously dangerous. Kurt decided to make some tea he gave Sebastian a glass of water and some snacks to soak up the alcohol. He mumbled his thanks while he quietly ate and sipped at his tea while Kurt was fussing about looking for something. When he re-emerged he had an oversized hoodie and some sweatpants and handed them to Sebastian "here I thought it might be uncomfortable for you to sleep in your clothes." "Mr. Hummel I mean Kurt thank you but you don't have to do this for me. I'm sorry for wasting your time" Sebastian states solemnly and tried to leave before Kurt stops him. "Hey if you go out there and get caught I won't be able to do anything to help you. But if you stay in here everything will be okay and we can sneak you out tomorrow morning." Kurt says with a half smile on his face. Sebastian sits back down and takes his shirt off and Kurt is about to turn around when he sees what looks to be cuts on Sebastian's arms. "Sebastian oh my God" Kurt near enough shouts. In his alcohol clouded mind Sebastian forgot about his arm and forgot about the fact he was undressing in front of his teacher who has now seen his arm. " Sebastian what the fuck is that" Kurt says he sounds hurt and disgusted? Sebastian thinks. He tries to put the hoodie on to cover up but before he can Kurt takes a hold of his arm gently but firmly and says again " Sebastian what is this" before he can even think he breaks down again in front of Kurt for like the billionth time today " I'm so sorry" he mumbled out weakly but it was there and Kurt heard him.

Kurt doesn't speak another word but goes into the cupboard above the sink and pulls out a first aid kit. When he returns back to the living room, even though they are like three feet apart, Sebastian has the hoodie and sweatpants on and he's chewing his bottom lip nervously. Kurt sits on the couch next to him and reaches his hand up to Sebastian's face. He gently pulls on Sebastian's bottom lip with his thumb and whispers " don't do that, you'll hurt yourself" Sebastian immediately stops feeling obliged to. He's so close to Kurt and it may be the alcohol or the close proximity but he feels all warm and fuzzy. Kurt takes out a cotton swab and a wound disinfectant to clean Sebastian's cuts he does so carefully trying not to hurt the boy. Then he thinks as much as he already has been hurt. Once he's cleaned the cuts on both of Sebastian's arms he retreats to his bedroom to get changed. After he's done he says to Sebastian "I will take the couch you can sleep in my bed." "No Kurt I couldn't possibly. Please you've done so much for me" Sebastian all but begs him. After a long debate Sebastian gives in and goes to Kurt's room but he can't sleep he feels on edge like his heart has dropped into his bowels. He creeps into the living room and says to Kurt as confident as he can muster up "can you um stay with me. I know it's not really allowed but please I can't sleep alone right now I'm scared and I feel really vulnerable" Sebastian mumbled but it came out small and pleading. Kurt takes a minute to study Sebastian the boy he sees in front of him is not the cocky and confident warbler he once knew.  He knew that if anyone was to find out he'd get in a lot of trouble he would probably get fired because this is so inappropriate but he also knew that Sebastian needed this. He could see it in his eyes and he knows from experience how lonely a time like this can be. So without saying anything he walks Sebastian to his bedroom and climbs into bed with him.
