After a few hours of riding in the carriage, they finally arrived at the so-called Kairouan Kingdom. The kingdom was much bigger than they expected, so their mouths were open until Myron asked them to follow him to the entrance gate after seeing how huge the gate is.
"Hey!" Says Myron waving high. "Ah! Be right there!" Says Akane running with Karen to the entrance gate.
"So Myron, who are these ladies with you?" Says the 30-ish old guard on the left from the outside gate. "Come on, stop joking! Is that how you knights supposed to be?" Says Myron as a payback. "Now, now. It's just a joke, don't take It seriously." Says the other 30-ish old guard on the other side of the gate. "For your information, i saw them walking beside the road. So I asked them if they want to go here, that's all." Says Myron crossing his arm and unconsciously wagging his tail.
"That's all? Man, what a bummer." Says the guard on the left. "Okay, okay. Let us through now, will ya." Says Myron trying to break the conversation. "Hahaha. Sure thing." Says the guards as they letting them through the gates. Inside the gate they can see a lot of people with and without an animal-like ears and tails while being on the carriage again. Not just that, there's also a lot of stalls that sells foods, decorations, clothes and many more that it's hard to keep count.
"Whoa... This is..." Says Akane with a pause. "Amazing." Says Karen continuing Akane's sentence. Myron who can hear them despite being on the front, laugh quietly from seeing them in excitement. "That's a good reaction." He thought. Soon after, they arrived at the Inn. "Well, we're here." Says Myron. "Your place is pretty big for an Inn." Says Akane astound from what she sees. "Well that's because there's a lot of people and beastkins coming here." Says Myron as he hop off from the left side of the carriage.
Akane and Karen then hop off the carriage despite Akane almost fall. As soon as Akane landed safely a young woman that have the same dark blue colored ears and tail as Myron walked out of the inn. "Myron, you're back." Says the young lady while Karen has got off the carriage. "Oh my, who are these ladies with you?" As she is surprised and had just noticed the two. "They are Akane and Karen." Says Myron as he points to which is which. "I saw them at the side of the road while going back and it seems that they don't have any money with them nor a place to stay, so I offered them to work at our inn."
"My, that is so kind of you Myron." Says the young lady making him blushed while also clapping her hand. "Isn't that the right thing to do? Besides, I can't just leave someone by if I know I can help them." Says Myron as his tail's wiggling. "Fufufu.. well then, let's get you two inside." Says the young lady heading inside the inn. As the two followed inside they are astound by the large space in the inn while the young lady is talking with someone at the reception desk on their left.
"So, is it alright for them to work while living with us mom?" Heard the two facing to the reception desk. "Why not? we need a little help anyway." Says the reception lady whom also has the same feature as Myron and the young lady. "Ah, I'm sorry for not introducing myself. My name is Helen, Myron's sister and she is our mother Yvaine." Says Helen.
