Chapter 1. Attempt

Midoriya, a quirkless boy. A boy who is so determined to become a hero, while everyone puts him down. A boy who doesn't realise how unstable he actually is. A boy who is messed up in the head while he really just seems like a normal, happy teenager.

Midoriya was sitting at his desk at the end of class, packing his stuff away. Regular thoughts swooning around in his head about becoming a hero.

His bully or as Midoriya likes to call him — his childhood best friend, Bakugou Katsuki, also known as 'Kacchan' by midoriya.

The ash blond male leaned over Midoriya's desk, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt.

Midoriya let out a gasp and flinched when the taller male raised his fist, smirking. The blond male's 'friends' giggled as his smirk grew.

Midoriya didn't even realise at this point, there was forming tears in the fragile boys eyes. Midoriya knew whenever Bakugou gave him that stupid smirk he was going to hurt him.

The blonde male threw him on the cold, wooden floor of their classroom. Back hitting against the wall, wind being knocked out of him, mind spinning.

"I can't believe a quirkless loser like you is going to go to U.A! It's Pathetic if you ask me. It's not like you're going to make it in away! You'll die within the first few minutes! You might as well back out now!."

"Please be quiet Kacchan! There's no way I'm backing out!!" Midoriya started to raise the tone of his voice, flinching when the ash blonde boy raised a brow at the smaller male.

"what was that, nerd?!" A shadow formed over Midoriyas eyes, tears threatening to fall.

"I-I..I'll get into Yuuei..! J-just you w-watch!!" Since when did midoriya talk back to Bakugou? This was surely a first for the timid boy.

"HA as if, the only chance you have is if you take a swan dive off the tallest building and pray you'll be born with a quirk in your next life!"

Who was he to say that to someone?! What if he actually did it?.. was he really that annoying with all his 'Being a quirkless Hero' stuff? Did his best friend really want him gone?!

The timid boy started to shake, he was at a loss for words. He was right..He had no chance of getting into UA without a quirk. who was Midoriya kidding..

Tears fell down midoriyas cheeks but a wicked smile was plastered on his face.

"Maybe—Maybe you're right." Midoriya managed to whisper under her ragged breath, only loud enough for only Bakugou to hear. Bakugous face paled as he started to speak. "Shit, Nerd— I-"

He didn't even get to finish his sentence. Midoriya shot straight up and bolted out of the classroom.

He ran around the halls, up the stairs leading to the roof. He entered the roof metal doors, immediately getting hit with a cold, cool breeze.

His now puffy eyes scanned the roof to see if it was occupied by anyone. Fortunately for him there was no one.

He swiftly took off his school coat as he walked closer to the edge, the wind immediately blowing it away somewhere else on the roof. Once he reached the edge he took off his shoes.
