Ch.21 Attending the party part 2

"You know Bats I'm stoic that you invited me on this mission, like who knew you needed Booster gold"

"I'm starting to regret it"

Inside the Bat mobile Booster Gold was sitting in the bat mobile next to Batman who was driving. In the back seat was Batgirl who sat next to Robin who was strapped to a booster seat much to his shgrin. Robin crosses his arms as he pouts. Batgirl pats his head in comfort, trying to cheer him up. However she was annoyed that Booster Gold was on this mission with them. She didn't know why Batman even brought him here. She hated him talking. She pulls out a knife, to kill booster but Robin gental grabs her hand and takes the knife away.

This wasn't the first time she tried to kill booster.... nor will it be the last time.

"So what's the plan bats ?" Booster asks.

"Well first you can stop talking" Batman said. "And second we follow Zoom's goons to the rooftops of mercury labs"

"Why mercury labs ?" Robin asks confused.

"Mercury labs are home of machines and traps that are designed to take humans with powers and more importantly speeders" Batman said grimly.

"You don't mean.... they're gonna take down Wally and Flash ?" Robin asks.

"We have to stop them and figure out were they took Ronnie" Batman said as he parks in front of mercury labs.

"Alright team let's do this" Booster said but Batman stops him.

"Booster your staying here while Robin Batgirl and I will stop Zoom's goons" Batman said.

"Bats you can't be serious" Booster said shocked.

"Just keep an eye on the bat mobile" is all Batman said, not wanting to tell Booster he's a screw up.

Batman, Robin and Batgirl head out of the car leaving Booster alone to sulk.

"Do you want me to play the sad violin, sir ?" Skeets asks.

"Not now Skeets !" Booster shouts.

Meanwhile in Jump city inside the Flash mobile,

Stargirl sits in the back seat, eating chips and drinking soda as she listens to Britney Spears from her flip phone. The wonder twins were in front of the car, Jayna was driving while Zan messes with the radio. The flash van was parked in the back of Harriosn Wells Building where the charity party was being held.

Unknowest to the 3 teens, Solomon Grundy was watching them.

Wally tugs at his tuxedo as they enter the main ball room. Jade smirks at Wally as she leads them to the main room. Wallace looks at the two.

"Alright you two, you need to get along" Wallace said. "Here's the cover story, you guys are my siblings, Catwoman being the older sister" Wallace said.

"Bit me West" Jade snares as Wallace grins playfully.

"Where do find the velocity 9 ?" Wally asks.

Before Wallace could reply he sees Lena Starr talking to her assistant Jessica Curiz. This was a rare occasion that Lena Starr was in public. She rarely if ever went out, being a recklose and spending her time in the shadows, planning everything in the daily planet since she owns half of the place with Perry White.

There were alot of reasons why Lena closed herself out from the world. But the main reasons was there were people after her becuase she's Lex Luthor daughter or that's what Lena thinks. You see no one is after Lena. The public lefted Lena alone becuse if anyone hated Lex Luthor it was Lena. She had once publicly disowned her father and casted herself out of the Luthor name.

But in Lena ' s point of view, she was the most hated person in meatroplise. She thought everyone was after her, even going as far thinking people wanted to kill her for what her father had did to himself and superman.

This is a classic case of parinoa and there were clear sighs Lena had it. She wasn't crazy but it was clear she only let a few people in here life that she knew they won't hurt her. It would also explain she always had body guards when she came out.

Wallace waves to Lena, who sees him and smiles. She walks over to him and gives him a hug. Wally and Jade meet them there.

"It's good to see you Wallace" Lena said.

"It's good to see you too, Lena" Wallace said as he notices the number of body guards.

"I have someone I would like you to meet" Lena said.

"The body guards ?" Wallace jokes which causes to Lena to giggle.

One of the body guards walks up to Lena.

"Everything alright Ms. Starr ?" Lena asks.

"Yes Philp everything is alright, Can you get me Perry White ?" Lena asks him.

"Of course" The body guard said as he goes to find Perry white.

"Lena how come you came out tonight ?" Wallace asks.

Lena pauses at this question.

"You never go out to big events like this because you don't like media attention" Wallace said fully knowing she was parnoid.

Lena looks at him. She really was at state where the loniness was getting to her.

"Are you starting to come back to the world maybe open up to more people ?" Wallace asks.

Lena shackes her head.

"I'm here to help a friend, You may not let Powergirl help you but I'll make sure I'll help you get Velocity 9" Lena said as she lifts her face up and takes off her sunglasses.

Wallace notices she had blue eyes just like Powergirl.

"Powergirl ?" Wallace whispers, relizing who powergirl's alter ego was.

She gives him a nod and a smile.

"It's always a pleasure Flash" Lena whispers with a grin, which causes Wallace to smile.

Wally and Jade walk up to them.

"Hey who is this Perry White guy ?" Wally asks.

"Guys this is my old friend Lena Starr" Wallace said.

Wally holds out his hand towards Lena but she doesn't touch it.

Perry White smiles and walks up to the group.

"Hi Perry" Lena said as he gives her a hug.

"I'm glad your here, I want you to meet the man who let us rent the building for tonight" Perry said.

Caitlin pushes a wheelchair towards the group. Wallace eyes widen as he sees Harrison Wells in a wheel chair.

"Everyone this is Harrison Wells" Perry White said.

Harrison smirks at Wallace.

"Hello Wallace, we have much to talk about" Harrison smirks.
