"Wake up, sleepy head!"

Zenitsu woke up slowly, yawning as he felt a warm pair of arms around him. He looked up and saw his beloved burgundy haired boyfriend holding him to his chest. "Cute.." the blonde thought to himself before pulling his gaze away from Tanjiros face. The blonde looked at the digital clock that was on his nightstand, reading that it was 6:30 AM. He groaned quietly, thinking he had to get up for work but then he realized that it was Sunday. They both had the day off and could do whatever they wanted. "Should I go back to sleep..? No. I'm not tired anymore." He thought about his options until an idea popped into his head. "I got it! I'll make him breakfast in bed! He does so much for me..I want to do something to repay him" He thought excitedly before gently trying to remove his lovers arms from around his waist, trying his best not to wake him up. "Mm..don't go yet. I'm comfy" Tanjiro said, still half asleep. "Tanjirooo..I need to use the bathroom-" Zenitsu whispered, making a pouty face even though the burgundy haired males eyes were shut. "Fine.." He replied, releasing his grip on the blonde so he could get up. Zenitsu smiled at him before getting up from under the covers. "Ugh..why is it so cold in here?" He thought, throwing a baggy hoodie on and making his way over to the bedroom door. He left the small room, making sure not to wake Tanjiro more than he already was.

The blonde used the bathroom quickly before padding into the kitchen, thinking about what he could make for his boyfriend to eat. "Hmm..maybe pancakes?.. yeah! He likes those" he thought out loud, until a "mrow" interrupted his train of thought. "Raku?" He called out softly, seeing a big fluffy black cat come up to him and rub the side of his leg. "Good morning Raku" He said softly, bending down to pet the cat. "I have to make breakfast. Do you wanna watch?" Zenitsu asked his fluffy friend, receiving a "mew!" In response. "Okay, but you can't get on the counter. You know the rules! We don't want hair or crud in the food" He told Raku before going to get the ingredients out of the pantry and fridge. "I hope I remember how to do this correctly.." He sweat dropped, realizing that he left his phone in the bedroom and he couldn't get the recipe or instructions. "Well..I'll try my best!" The blonde exclaimed out loud, smiling brightly.

After about 15 minutes, Zenitsu managed to put together some pancake batter, smiling to himself proudly as he went over to the stove and turned on two burners, heating the griddle on top of them so he could start cooking. "I hope he likes these.." the blonde thought to himself as he got out a measuring cup to put the batter on the grill. While he was waiting for it to heat up, he decided to get some fruits out of the fridge and wash them. "Hmm..how about some strawberries and blueberries!" He said, grabbing both containers of fruit and putting them in two small colanders. The blonde placed them in the sink and switched the water on, swishing the fruit around gently and setting it aside for when he was done cooking.

Zenitsu finally finished making the delicious breakfast food for his lover, trying to make it as pretty as possible before setting it on a small tray with a glass of juice, a small bottle of syrup and some utensils on the side. He looked at the clock that hung on the wall above the doorway. It was 7:30 AM "He should be ready to get up now!" He thought before making his way to their shared bedroom, pushing the door open gently with his foot. "Tanjirooo~" he cooed, trying to wake the burgundy haired boy up.

When the blonde didn't get a reply he went over to the bed, setting the tray of food on the nightstand and bending down to be on level with Tanjiros face. "Wake up, sleepy head! I made you breakfast" he said, kissing his forehead lovingly. "Mm..Alright, alright. I'm up" Tanjiro said with his tired voice, chuckling quietly as he sat up. "Goodmorning Zenitsu" he yawned, stretching his arms up and hearing his joints pop as he did.

"Goodmorning!" Zenitsu replied happily, grabbing the food tray off of the nightstand and presenting it to his tired boyfriend, smiling brightly as he did. "I woke up early, so I thought I'd make you breakfast! Since you do so much for me I thought I'd do something nice.." he trailed off, blushing slightly as he set the tray on Tanjiros lap. "I hope you like it!"

Tanjiro looked at the food in awe, staring up at Zenitsu for a moment and smiling warmly. "It looks so good! And smells delicious.." He exclaimed, taking the fork that sat on the tray and cutting a piece. The burgundy haired male put it in his mouth, groaning quietly because of how good it tasted. "And It tastes amazing!" You could practically see the metaphorical flowers and sparkles that were floating around his head as he ate. Zenitsu smiled, going over to his side of the bed and sitting down next to Tanjiro. "I'm glad you like it" he said, blushing lightly and scratching the back of his neck.

Suddenly, he felt his face being grabbed and a pair of soft lips on his. "Thank you Zenitsu, I really appreciate it" Tanjiro said sincerely, smiling warmly at the blushing blonde. "O-Of course! You're always doing things for me, and always working so hard..I just thought I'd do something for you for a change.." he stuttered a bit, his cheeks turning a darker shade of red.

"I love you"
