~Jaden's Point of View~

All this drama is getting too much in here. Finding out what's happened to Lenneth is tragic, and now if she does go home what's to bet that those kidnappers aren't already waiting. There's got to be a way for her to stay. But what.

Then an idea just came to me! Well, I hope this will be the best result for Lenneth.

Jaden: So why not enroll her here!

I said, over the intense atmosphere in this room. All heads snapped over at me, all with different looks on there faces.

Jaden: Or make Lenneth, a transfer student, or something to make her stay!

Bastion: Jaden, I don't think it works that way.

Jaden: There's got to be!

I mean, c'mon! Lenneth needs help and trying that old school get up of 'I'm fine' won't cut it.

Sheppard: Now, now, Jaden. I know what you're getting at. But that's impossible.

Banner: Then perhaps I can suggest something.

The good Professor called. Looks like I'm not the only one that wants to help Lenneth stay. Hearing Sheppard exhale a large sigh, then standing to attention nodding his head at Professor Banner.

Sheppard: What do you suggest then, Professor?

Banner: We could give Miss Faron a change to stay. If she passes a simple test.

Ryan: What sort of 'test' are you saying Professor?

He asked, losing eye contact from the Chancellor and now onto Banner. Showing that the Professor wasn't fazed from Ryan's stare, he just smiled, as he petted the top's of Pharaoh's head.

Banner: We can test your sister, for a change to stay here. By dueling. She wins, Lenneth can stay. And if not, then she'll return home, and we'll make sure the Chief Officer from your home town will keep an eye for anything suspicious.

He explained, looking over at Lenneth and her brother, Ryan was liking the idea that the Professor told us and it seems that even the Chancellor is all out of excuses. Again he exhaled heavily, nodding his head in acceptance of Banner's idea.

Lenneth looked to be indifferent of the idea also, looking back up at her brother showing her a loving smile, she, in the end nodded her head.

Lenneth: Okay. I'll accept.

Sheppard: Very well. I'll arrange a duel for you tomorrow, so you can rest up and prepare.

~Lenneth's Point of View~

Lenneth: Excuse me sir. But, I like to duel today.

Saying that all eyes stared at me, making me feel like I just said something crazy. Looking over at the Headmaster, giving him my best look that I was ready to take this 'test' that the Professor had arranged for me to take.

I know at first I didn't want anyone to get involved in something that even I had no idea of, but. If this was the only way for me to stay and be safe. Then, that's what I'm going to do.

Ryan: Lenny. Are you sure?

Lenneth: Yeah. I am.

Hearing Ryan sigh happily, then we heard someone yelp, looking over behind, seeing Syrus had jumped next to Bastion as Jaden was jumping up and down, punching his fist into the air.

Jaden: Alright! Two duels in one day! Who can ask for that!

Bastion: You. Apparently.

Jaden: Y'know it! Oh! Who's gonna be Lenneth's opponent? Can it be me, oh please let it be me!
