Chapter 2: Wendigos.

"He's just...captivating," Jimin sighed, laying in his bed as Hoseok listened to his rambling.

"And you're just stupid," Hoseok shook his head, sitting at the edge of Jimin's bed.
"How so?" Jimin inquired, sitting up.
"For starters, you let someone escape. Now they're all going to be fucking paranoid you moron and it gets worse if anyone finds out who you are," Hoseok snapped, slapping Jimin on the back of the head.

"First of all, ow," Jimin held the back of his head, "Second of all, they outsmarted me."
"You let some random hikers outsmart you?" Hoseok facepalmed.
"They were smart hikers," Jimin defended himself, glaring at Hoseok.

"Or, you're just stupid," Hoseok retorted.
"I'm not stupid, hyung, and I'm gonna find that Yoongi guy."
"This just proves my point. He's human. What are you gonna do? Eat him?"

Jimin rolled his eyes, "I was actually thinking of becoming his friend and moving on from there."
"Yeah. Definitely stupid," Hoseok scoffed, "We're wendigos Jimin. We fucking eat humans," Hoseok face-palmed once again (More like claw-palmed but okay).

"Okay. So sharp teeth, check. Eating a human alive....Check," Taehyung sighed, "I swear if you guys are pranking me..." Taehyung glared at Jin.
"I promise we're not, Tae," Jin sighed, realising that he sounded insane.

"Hmm...Fine, I trust you. You're aware that wendigos can shapeshift, though? It could be anyone, even me," Taehyung stated, a wide grin appearing across his face. "NOT FUNNY, TAEHYUNG I SWEAR!" Jin screeched, running across the room.

"You're going to school!?" Hoseok gasped as he saw Jimin walking out all dressed up.
"Yes. Don't I look great," Jimin smirked, fixing his jacket.
"I'm coming with you," Hoseok sighed. "Nice, some of your clothes are in my closet anyway. "WAIT LEMME DRESS YOU!" Jimin's eyes lit up.

"It looks...okay I look good let's go," Hoseok grabbed Jimin before heading to the school. "Do you even know where we're going?!" Jimin questioned.
"Just sniff the guy out. I know you memorized his scent," Hoseok gave Jimin a knowing look.

"Are you just going to sit there despondently and act depressed as usual?" Namjoon questioned, looking over at Yoongi. "What'd you say?" Yoongi sighed, annoyance evident in his voice as he removed his headphones. "Nevermind," Namjoon rolled his eyes.

"Wait, isn't that the guy we met in the forest?" Namjoon narrowed his eyes as he saw Hoseok and Jimin walking into the school.

"Oh yeah, who's that guy with him?" Yoongi asked, staring intensely at Hoseok.

"His friend, I would assume," Namjoon stated the obvious, making Yoongi roll his eyes.
"Wow, thanks. You're so helpful."
"You're quite welcome," Namjoon replied.

"You know, it's a good thing you're wearing shades because I'm sure the way that you're looking at the guy would've freaked him out by now," Hoseok shook his head at Jimin's antics.

"How the hell are you controlling yourself so easily?" Jimin immediately changed the subject as he looked at Hoseok in astonishment as he seemed calmer than ever around all these people.

"I'm not. Which is why I'm wearing this mask," Hoseok explained, pointing to his covered mouth.
"Ah, makes sense. Oh, they're looking at us," Jimin noticed Namjoon and Yoongi's stares. He frowned when he realised that Yoongi was looking at Hoseok. "Why is he only looking at you..."

Hoseok shrugged, unfazed by Jimin's anger, "Probably because they don't have any idea who I am." Jimin nodded but you could tell that he was still annoyed.
