Chapter 26 - Our Little Family

DIGGY'S POV

A few hours later / The Next Morning ; April 23, 2016

"Awww, my babyyyy.." Y/n cooed over Aionna. "How're you feeling mama?" "I'm just wanna see her.. Knowing she's just about to look like her ugly daddy.." Xa chuckled. "I'm not even bout to say nothing.." Then Aionna face scrunched up as she gripped Y/n's hand. "AAAHHHHH!!!" They both screamed. "Uh uh, let me go!" Y/n yelled at her, snatched her hand away. "Sorry, I thought you were Xavier for a minute..." "What happened with you two?" I asked. "Xa said y'all fought??" "It wasn't anything serious.." Aionna said. "He just made me mad, then gon have the audacity to say we couldn't cuddle.." She glared over at him. He smiled. "Now that's a death sentence right there!" Y/n giggled. "I wish Daniel would say some shit like that!" Y/n glared over at me. "What?" I chuckled. "AAHHHHH!!!!" "Shit!" Xa grunted.

Hours passed

"Hey pretty girl.." Aionna smiled as she cradled Meree. "Thank God, you don't look like your ugly daddy.." Xa chuckled as stood beside her, comforting her. "Keep on Aionna.." He kissed her head. "She's so precious!" Y/n's mom squealed. Her dad smiled. "I'm so jealous!" Ivory whined. "She's prettier than me!!" Everyone laughed. I looked over at Y/n, who was smiled & rubbing her stomach. I held her & pulled her into me. She looked up at me, smiling. "Just five more months babygirl.." She kissed me. "So you better get ready.." She smirked. I chuckled.

A year & a half later ; October 4, 2017

"Come on, papi!!" Y/n smiled as our son waddled over to her. "There you go baby.." He giggled as he got excited & fell onto the carpet. I smiled. "Yayy!!" Y/n exclaimed as she crawled over to him. "Ja, you did it!!!" She grabbed him & tossed him up in the air. He screamed & laughed....he was so happy. "Did you see that!?" She asked me as she walked over to sofa. I smiled. "Yeah...good job Ja'Lynn.."

My son, Ja'Lynn Zamarr Simmons. I love the boy more than I love myself. He's everything I imagined....playful, happy, advantageous, full of life & energy. He just turned a year old last month, on the twenty-fourth. We went all out, he had so much fun with his cousins & all his new toys. Y/n & Lydia finally made the fuck up...and on Ja's birthday! I know, that's just sad. She's still mad at Spin, but it's not as bad as it used to be....she can talk to him without arguing, most of the time.

"JA!!" Bryson yelled. "Ja! Jaaaaa!" "Bryson, he's not gonna answer you baby.." Lydia giggled as she rubbed her stomach. Yeah this nigga pregnant again...with Spin's baby this time. She's about four months now & having another boy. I'm proud of them though, Spin finally got a kid. "You happy man?" I asked Spin as Y/n & Lydia were playing with the kids in the living room. "Yeah man...I mean it's not new cause I raised Bryson as my own, but it's a good feelin...I actually have a kid on the way." I chuckled & patted his shoulder. "Proud of you man.." He nodded. "Besides me, how's the daddy life been this past year?" I breathed out. "It's something.." He laughed. "Don't get me wrong I love being a father, but I just need my space sometimes.." "I feel ya, I feel ya...I still have those time.." We laughed.

Y/N'S POV

"Ma Ma!!" Bryson whined because Lydia wasn't giving him the attention he wanted. "Yes baby?" She looked up from playing with my son, my little sugafoot, Ja'Lynn. "Ma Ma.." He pouted. "Oh you're so full of it!" We laughed. "Go in the kitchen with daddy." He ran off. "He is so full of it!" She laughed. "That's how Michaela, Ava & Miles is, when they're over." I laughed. "They don't want me to give anyone any attention but them." "Because you spoil them!" She continued to laugh. "Wait...and Miles is....?" "Dan's oldest brother's son. He's about the same age as Michaela.." "And Meree?" I giggled. "She don't even fuck with me half of the time. After Ja was born, she just kicked me to the curb." We laughed. "Nah but she's just chill, she doesn't like my outbursts of excitement. I scare her every time!" "You really do have to chill out thought.." "I tried. I really be trying, I just can't help it!" Lydia shook her head & continued to play with Ja.

"What this boy come in here crying to me for?" We looked up to Dan & Spin walking in. Ja'Lynn reached for him. My little daddy's boy. "Cause I wasn't giving him the attention he wanted." "Teach you to stop spoilin him.." Spin picked Bryson up as Dan grabbed Ja'Lynn from Lydia. "Whateva negro! I can spoil my baby if I want to.." "And if he start actin out, don't come cryin to me." She rolled her eyes & turned on the television. "Now sit down and watch cartoons with mommy and your baby brother.." "Baby..?" Bryson poked Lydia's stomach. "Yeah baby." She smiled. "Baby!" He smiled, putting his hands on her stomach. Then her stomach moved. "Ahh!" He screamed, then giggled. I looked up & smiled at Dig. "Baby steps ma.." He smirked. I rolled my eyes & smiled.

Later on

"Hey Ja!" I tickled him as I finished changing him. He giggled & screamed, kicked his legs. "Hey Ja. Hey Ja." "Ahhaha!! Whatchu up in here doin to my boy?" I turned to him & rolled my eyes, then picked Ja'Lynn up. "Daddy always ruins the fun.." I pouted & glanced at Diggy. He chuckled. "Who me?" He gestured to himself, with his eyebrows raised. "Nahh.." "Mhmm.." I walked over to Ja'Lynn's crib. "Nah but forreal, I'm touring in a few months." "REALLY DANIEL!!" I yelled as I turned sharply towards him. "You doing this to us again??" "I haven't been on tour in a year.." He yelled, defensively. "Exactly! Do you not understand how lonely I was??" He chuckled. "That's why I was gonna asked if you wanted to come...?" I giggled a little as I smiled. "Why didn't you just start with that?? Hell yeah I wanna go..." I looked over at Ja'Lynn. "Well we.." He kissed me. "You are too much, you know that??" I giggled.
