Chapter 31 - U Got It Bad

IVORY'S POV

A few weeks later

" Morning beautiful 😉 " Peyton texted me. I sighed & looked at the clock. Hmm, he's up early. " Good morning Peyton. " I texted him back. I decided to give him another chance, but I swear if he screws up this time it's seriously over. What can I say? I love him. He's like my better half, the one I see myself living the rest of my life with....he's my soulmate. The aromas of breakfast flew up my nose. "Mm...." I hummed to myself. I got up, washed my face, brushed my teeth & hopped into the shower. After getting out of the shower and getting dressed, I walked downstairs. I heard laughter. What?? At 7 almost 8 in the morning??? Erm...okay then. I walked into the kitchen & stopped on my heels. I gasped. "Hey beautiful." "Peyton.." I said to myself. "What're you doing here? How did you get here?" "You left your phone down here last night so I answered it." My mom said. I covered my face. "Damnit!" I murmured to myself. "Why didn't you tell me that you had a boyfriend?"

"Huh..?" I looked up. She gave me a stern look. I sighed. "Because we're been on and off for about four years." "15...15 years old...?" She glared at me. I looked down & nodded. "Yeah..." I looked up. "But technically, I'm 19 now.." "Yet you're still living at home." I opened my mouth to speak. I sighed. "I'm buying a condo here pretty soon." Peyton spoke up. "I sent in some job applications last week and I gotta couple interviews this afternoon. My parents said they'll keep payin my car note til I turn 21..." He paused. "So Ivory could live with me.." He turned to me, longingly. I sighed & rolled my eyes. He smiled. "No funny business!" Mom pointed at Peyton. "I do not need any grandchildren." He chuckled a little. "Yes ma'am. We haven't gon that far, just waiting until she's ready." She narrowed her eyes at him. "Mhm..." I laughed to myself. She reminds me of Y/n, Aionna & Ms. Quiana when she does that.

Later on ; 3:21 p.m.

"GET IN HERE!!!" I pulled Aionna in the house & upstairs. "Ivory, calm down!" She yelled back. "Hey Ms. Kelsey." "Hey sweetheart.." She laughed. "Come. On!" I pulled her into my room & locked the door behind me. I sighed & slid down the door. "Ivory what's doing on?" Aionna asked. "HE'S here! Aionna, Peyton's here?" She laughed. "What in the hell is so funny!?" "Didn't you take him back?" I bit my lip. "Yes." "Don't you love him?" I sighed. "Yes." "Okay, so what's the point?" She questioned. "My mom didn't know about him!!!" She paused. "Well shit.." "Now you see!" I shook my head & sat on my bed. She sat beside me, rubbing my back. "It's okay. I promise it's alright." She told me. "When my mom find out about Xa.....well it was a little too late for me." She paused. "Maybe I'm not the best example, but as long as you're not having sex it shouldn't matter. Are you having sex??" "No..." She rose her eyebrow at me. "Really? You're 19 and you're n--" "Aionna!!" She giggled. "Well it shouldn't matter then. So chill babygirl.." She hugged me. Then there was a knock on the door & it crept open. Peyton walked in. "Oh he's cute." He chuckled & stuck his hand out. "I'm Peyton, and you are...." "Aionna." She shook his hand. "Ivory's big sister.." "It's only a year." He chuckled. "I never knew she had any siblings. Nice to meet you." He kissed her hand.

Y/N'S POV

"I'm happy, are you happy?" I squealed. "Sure....why not..?" I rolled my eyes & lightly shoved him, because he was holding Ja'Lynn. "Screw you, okay?" He smiled & walked up to me. "C'mon babe." He kissed me. "You know I love y'all.." He bend down to kissed my belly. Ja'Lynn mimicked him. I smiled. "My big boy." I kissed his head. "Are you ready for your show?" I asked Daniel. "Unfortunately.." He sat Ja'Lynn on the sofa so he could get dressed. "What's that suppose to mean?" I asked. He shook his head. "Nothin, just..." He sighed. "Then stop working yourself." I walked over to him. He held me. "From your shows, studio sessions, going to clubs for Spin's spot gigs, and my hormones....just take a break." I kissed him. He nodded. "No club or studio tonight...?" "Yes mama.." Then we heard Ja'Lynn making noises. We turned to him & he was making spit bubbles and giggling. Dan & I laughed. "Oh Ja.." I smiled. Dan rubbed my belly.

"Dig?" His dressing room door opened. "10 minutes til showtime." He nodded. The stage director left. "Lemme get dressed." He walked off, removing his shirt. He playfully threw it at Ja'Lynn. He giggled. I smiled. "My little poohbear.." I sat by him as he played with Dan's shirt. After he got dressed, we walked to the side of the stage. "Kill it." "Don't I always?" He kissed me. Then the beat dropped & he ran out on stage. Daniel always has so much energy when he's on stage, and he has the audacity to say that Ja'Lynn gets all that energy from me....maybe in bed but uhhh...yeah. Wink Wink. Baaaaack to this concert!

"So let's break all the rules. I want you to hold me down like you love it, kissing and touching all in public." He's actually done that before. "It's like a scene from a movie, yeah. And we ain't worry bout nothing. We so hot, think I'm buzzing now. Since we're on the edge, we should fall, fall, fall. No stopping us we should fall. Baby we should fall, fall. Fall in love or whatever." I sang along. Then I smiled as Ja'Lynn was dancing. "Go Ja! Go Ja!" "We'll never apologize, we'll never apologize. Ah, they saying that we moving like we in a race. Probably shouldn't make it cause we didn't wait." Then he ran off & onto the stage. "JA'LYNN!!!" Dig chuckled. "C'mere lil man.." He looked over a me & winked. He picked Ja up. "You learning all type of new things. I know they mad you my new thing. Change of view, now ya view changed. Um um, damn girl you ain't in a routine." He chuckled. I rolled my eyes & smiled.
