~few minutes earlier~

"what talk? there's nothing to talk about. how did you find me?" spinel asked the fusion as garnet carried the watermelon steven in her arms.

"you ran away because what you did right?" spinel looked down and kicked the sand "what if i did?"

garnet stayed silent and sat down near spinel while stroking the watermelon's head. garnet looked up at spinel and patted the empty side for spinel to sit on.

spinel grumbled and sat down but kept a safe distance. the gem looked out in the vast empty blue sea, until garnet broke the silence.

"y/n's really worried for you."

"i know she is. i just don't get she's fated to me!" spinel pointed at her tear stained face, she wrapped her arms around hugging herself.

"y/n doesn't care about what you did, what you were or what you are now. y/n can see you're a good person, even a great partner for her." garnet said, she lets the watermelon go and it walked back to it's village.

"how can you be so sure. . ." garnet adjusted her visor and smiled. "it's a hunch." spinel chuckled and looked at garnet. "i'll go get y/n."

spinel's eyes widen "wait what? how? why don't you take me back to beach city?" garnet stood up "because the sunset here is beautiful." then walked off to return to beach city.

~now~

spinel couldn't stop pacing in the beach with a bunch of watermelon stevens on the side with flowers. she clenched the flowers she's supposed to give to you.

they basically set up a wedding in the beach on garnet's orders and spinel doesn't know what marriage is so—

spinel also made a deep straight hole due from her pacing back and forth.

then a watermelon steven ran out of the bushes with a wide smile on it's face. a few watermelons crowded him and they had a conversation.

garnet came out of the bushes with lion on her side and you behind. you were admiring the beauty of the jungle in this island that you didn't notice the set up until you came out of the bush.

"is one of the watermelons getting married?" you asked garnet as you can see a lot of watermelons in the surrounding area.

garnet giggled "much better than that." lion went ahead and bit spinel's arm to drag her. "ow hey!!" just by hearing her voice, you instantly know who it is.

you passed garnet and saw lion pulling spinel to come with him. you couldn't contain your smile, you ran towards spinel in full speed, lion got out of the way in time when you tackled the gem.

"y-y/n!!" spinel has a blush on and her smile is wide as well. you gulped and hugged her tightly not wanting to let her go, "erm. . . here." you slightly pulled away to see a bunch of flowers in her hand.

the flowers looked like they were strangled but you accepted it nevertheless, "thank you." you stood up and gave spinel your hand to lift her up.

"what's all this?" you looked at the decor that looks like it's set up for a. . . wedding. "i guess the watermelons went a little overboard." garnet said with a big smile on her face.

two watermelons went behind spinel and pushed her closer to you, lion also pushed you now you two are chest to chest. spinel looked at you with a red face, you placed your hand on her shoulder as you looked down with a blush.

spinel looked to the side to see the sun setting in the most beautiful way she could imagine, she lightly grabbed your chin to make you look up to her.

"i guess garnet is right about the sunset." then she pulled you into a kiss.

the watermelons cheered, lion roared and garnet clapped rapidly with a big wide smile on her face.
