I'm Fine

Ch. 5

~Billy's P.O.V.~

I could tell Kelli was having a lot of fun. I'm glad we saw Leo and Olivia. She hasn't seen either of them since she shot an episode with them three months ago. Long time for girls. It's now dark and almost midnight. The girls are getting tired I can tell. But we all agreed we'd stay for the New Years fireworks. Oh yeah, it's December 31. So, it's not only cold, but extremely crowded. This is when we use our jobs to get things.

"Hey Kelli, do you recognize her?" I ask pointing to a blonde.

"She looks like Dove Cameron." Kelli said. She turns to Olivia. "Liv, lets go see if that's Dove and Ryan."

"Alright." Olivia says. They squish through the crowd until they get to the girl. I see them hug her so I'm guessing that it was Dove. They point over to us and then come back.

"Yep, it was Dove and Ryan." Kelli tells me. She starts to shiver so I pull her closer to me.

"Hey Billy. Leo." Ryan says. Me and Leo nod to him. We're just waiting for the fireworks to go off.

"Ten, nine, eight...." the countdown has begun. "Four, three, two, one!" everyone screams. The fireworks shoot up and people cheer. I look over at Dove and Ryan who are kissing and I hug Kelli.

"Happy New Year!" I say. She smiles and hugs me.

"Can we go home? I'm tired." she says. I nod and we say goodbye to our friends.

"Bye Kelli!" Olivia and Dove say hugging her. Then I hear Olivia whisper.

"You'll get through this. I promise." she says. Kelli nods.

"Love you girls." she says.

"You too." they both say. Then we head out.

~Kelli's P.O.V.~

I'm really happy we met up with Dove, Olivia, Ryan, and Leo. I miss them all. I get into Billy's car and strap in. I'm so tired. I feel like I'm going to fall asleep before I get home. I don't want to go home.

"Billy, could you drop me off at my aunt's house, please." I ask. He nods. I know he knows where it is so I don't have to worry about that.

"Do you want to pick up Kirra?" he asks. Kirra! I forgot about her. She doesn't want to listen to mom and dad fight.

"Please?" I ask. He nods again and turns down my street. We pull up and I can hear my parents yelling at each other. I walk into the house and try to pass them without being noticed. No such luck.

"Kelli Michelle Berglund! Where have you been?" my mother screams at me.

"That's off topic Michelle." my dad yells at her. Then they go back to screaming at each other. I run up to my little sister's room. She's hiding in the corner reading with headphones on.

"Kirra, do you want to go to Aunt Kessa's house?" I ask.

"Can we?" she asked. I nod. She takes off her headphones and puts her books away.

"Billy's out in the driveway waiting. Let's go." I say. I reach my hand out, she takes it, and we walk downstairs.
