Look With Your Heart

Chapter 2

We saw Mr. Oliver who was wearing a classic gray english suit sets up the food in the middle part of the long dining table.

"Good morning everyone!" he greets as his mouth and wrinkly eyes smile to us.

What a sunshine?

"Good morning!" We all said in harmony.

Mr. Oliver who is like a sunshine to us and who's hair is now grayish black has been one of our longest and loyal assistant. In fact he's kinda the 10th generation in his family.

We met his 15 year old ancestor Raul during the medieval time when Harriet and I are researching about the curse in their town because we receive a rumor from the oracles that the town is in the middle of the forbidden forest and there might be clues that we could find in the town. At first we didn't sense any dangers from the forest. The town doesn't really have any tourist so they don't have any inns or hotels that we could stay the night. Fortunately his family found us wandering around town and was very kind to us to let us stay in their house. We told them that we are just young culture researchers and Raul who was an adventurous kid helped us tour the whole town and teach us about their culture.

We spent days in the town and wasn't really able to find something about our curse or the forbidden forest.

Until that unexpected night when the moon released the color of a bloody red.

That night where Harriet and I suddenly felt confused because our emotions is at its peak and our powers are getting stronger making it hard for us to control and conceal.

I begun to sense danger all over my body that it hurts to move. A black shadow begub to cover the red moon for a few seconds and when the moon shined again I was shocked to see a lot of people covered in blood trying their best to breathe to live.

A 4 elemental demon caught my eye ambushing the whole town.

Even thou we want to conceal our powers we cannot let more people to die. So Harriet and I have to let go and be ourselves. The demon kept on eating and eating the people like he was on a buffet including Raul's family.

Raul begun to cry and have an outraged. He was about to attack the demon but we stopped him as we let ourselves be consumed by our safety, survival emotions. We apologize to Raul for not telling the truth and we defeated the demon to save everyone.

After that our powers did not settle down and people can still sense our monstrous aura.

The people in the town formed a huge mob casting us away except for Raul and some of his friends who fought for us and told the mob that we saved them.

As an appreciation for what we have done Raul who became an orphan vowed his life to served us.

We accept his vow, educated him and gave him a nice life as our thanks also for saving us.

Harriet and I sat beside each other as the twins seats in front of us. The table consist of wide variety of delicious food that could feed tons of people.

"Thank you very much for the food Mr. Oliver." - I smiled as I look at his bright smile.

"Hope you like it. Madam." He replied as he poured me some hot milk tea.

"Have you found a new successor yet?" Harriet asked as Mr. Oliver poured her a creamy hot chocolate.

"Oh is it that time already?" Lana shocked to Harriet's question

"You know that you're not required to find someone to be your successor right? Don't worry about us, and focus on your own business company." I assured Mr. Oliver that we are gonna be fine as I serve myself some egg benedicts
