Look With Your Heart

Chapter 1

"I love you!" He announced as he take her arm that made her turn to see his face

"What?" She asked shocked and confused if she's having hallucinations or the guy she loved just confessed his love to her.

He moved closer to her, rest his forehead on hers, and looked at her in the eyes as he whispers "I said I love you, Will you date me?."

Her tears fell as she felt butterflies coming out from her stomach and had confirmed that she was not having any hallucinations and it was all real. She smiled and giggle "You don't know how much you made me happy today! I love you too!"

He showed her his biggest smile hug her tightly as he tells her "I am so glad you feel the same way. My heart is beating so fast!" He said as he puts her hand to his chest to make her feel his beating heart.

They laughed.

She gently pulls herself out of the hug, and as if she was possessed she grab his face with both of his hand and kiss him with her whole heart and soul.

"DANG GIRL! THAT WAS SO NOT COOL!!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE LET THE GUY KISS YOU!" I said as I threw my popcorn on the TV and waved my hand as if I was lecturing the characters in the movie.

"And you!"I said as I stand and point my fingers on the male character "You don't deserve her! I know you're hot but you're a jerk! She wants to pursue her dreams and you used love to let her stay! You should have known better!"

"Why did she even let this hot dude be her weakness?! She should never let a stranger be her weakness!"I continued to nag the characters in the TV as if they are actually listening to me.

"Why do people kiss after saying I love you? I just don't understand this concept. They should check if the other has a good breath or they should know the person better like years not months or weeks."

"Why did I even watch this movie? I should have watch another genre. Now I'm feeling jealous again. I don't even understand love! "I sighed and look at the characters kissing passionately on the screen.

I press the power button to turn the TV off, got up from my red long sofa, I fold my blankets, and sweep the popcorn that messed the living room.

My senses told me that someone is gonna come up here in 30 minutes and will burst out of my door to drag me to go to school so I got ready and wore my black turtle neck paired with my long red checkered pencil skirt ( Slit on the left) and black combat boots. I put an emergency weapon strap in my leg just in case something happened and tie my black hair with a scrunchies to let people see my face.

I walked to my vintage mirror and let my sapphire blue eyes see my white chubby face and my outfit for the day. I put a dark purple lipstick to emphasize the bitterness that I'm feeling and some blush for my cheeks to look more lively.

KNOCK KNOCK

Just in time.

"AMELIA! AMELIA!"

I heard my door being kicked down and saw my blonde friend Harriet wearing a white dress with a blue cardigan and red flats running to me crying. "I broke up with him." she said as she hug me.

I pat her head and asked what happened. This is gonna be a long story.

"I thought it was finally him. The gestures are right and I somehow feel happy whenever I'm with him but something is not right. I thought he was the one I was looking for. I thought he was finally the one who shows up in my dream. But I was wrong." She said as tears continue to fell on her face making my clothes wet.

I tried to reach for the paper napkin on my drawer and gave it to her so she could wipe her tears and blow her nose.

She blew her nose really loud and continued "Why does the gods not let me see his face? Why is it so hard for me to find him. Does he really exist? I'm tired of living this world and I just want to find him so I could have my peace." She whine as she wipes her tears grabs her spare teddy bear on my bed and lie down on my red L Shape sofa.
