My alarm went off at 5:30 am.

Wow, school is waiting for me. It would be better if keep the gift in Fermiga's locker.

And honestly, I wish to meet Sophia.

So I chafed an informal jumpsuit which was wine red in colour and paired it with murky red Louboutins stilettoes.

After getting convenient I entered the hall where I saw dad chatting to his subjects.

Sometimes I imagine how he oversees his passion and profession together. Yes, Tiago Empire is a remarkably well-known attorney and self-made billionaire, he holds lines of ships and their construction across worldwide.

'' Good morning dad, how you doing?'' I asked him as Penelope served me pancakes with Hershey's syrup.

''Pretty awful but it's nothing that I can't deal with you know.'' he teased me by wiping away the chocolate syrup from my edges of lips.

I pouted.

''You are always my little girl, don't play around run to school or '' I didn't permit him complete.

''Jeez dad I'm leaving ok don't be moody '' I announced while jamming the last pancake completely into my jaws.

'' Ron first bite on your food properly'' my dad yelled.

''Will do '' I pulled my backpack put on a quick kiss to dad and headed to the garage about which car to pull today.

My eyes snapped to a very comfortable looking vehicle.

Wow, the breeze was parading with me, my hair was spiralling with it  I was admiring the sensation of my limbs slamming the paddles while I'm cycling to school.

I stationed my cycle in the parking lot and everybody eyed at me.

''What can't I actually have ride to school by cycle? I respect nature hashtag save nature campaign .'' I announced while shaping my fingers into a hashtag pattern.

Everyone saluted and I put together my direction to the lockers. Are they behaving like morons or are they born morons?

I found Fermiga's locker and shoved the gift into it God this girl is living Barbie, so much cosmetics.

Then I led the way to my class which was world history. I don't hate studies you feel.

''Hey, Ron'' somebody tapped on my shoulder.

'' Oh, I missed you so much Soph how are doing?'' I hugged her.

''You remember that whole Fermiga case Dereck made an effort to discuss with Micheal but he told him that Fermiga compelled him and he was vulnerable'' she mumbled all this nonetheless cuddling me.

'' Hey babe chill don't panic everything would be alright'' I soothed her.

''I suppose so Ron'' she said while tickling me and she sprinted away.

''You are dead Soph  You are so dead'' I barked into the hallway as I was preparing to chase soph.

Something hit my head ''And who the hell do you think you are Mrs Empire? '' I saw the necklace slid out of the gift package and everyone sniffed.

I whirled around and saw Fermiga standing with her group. She deliberately began to step towards me.

'' You defame me, then you calm me as if the stuff you did to me were never out of your actions'' she said venomously.

'' You act all divine but you loot other's boyfriend'' she took a notch.

'' You are hard but inside you are almost shattered rose, constantly overlooked and full of self-pride.'' she was closing me.

I didn't stumble from my stance and stood there and Fermiga never intimidated me but now she stood to blow all my strengths.

'' Worst of all Veronica Empire you are not even an actual Empire .'' she snarled into my ear hardly making any sound.

''So what? I'm still Veronica Empire'' I cut her off there's no covering that I'm adopted it's not a big deal.

Tiago loves me as I'm, Who the hell, is she?

'' If you didn't like my gift you could have lent me without bringing such a fuss. '' I said calmly.

'' Bloody hell like I expect your gift. Bitch, you leak rumours about me and then pretending all good by granting me some crap. Huh princess?'' she squealed into me.

I didn't give a response because she was true and it was all my mistake. I crouched low and began to collect the necklace and box. Somebody also crouched down in front of me.

'' You believe by flooding some terrible shit you can earn the attention of Derry? I'll kill you Ron don't t make me insane'' with that she plopped a broken sliver from the necklace into the box and stood up and left me.

I was stunned. What is this girl, I can't figure her out? I was still in my crouched posture.

Again a hand touched my shoulder I emerged with my blurry gazes to look who was it.

Dereck

''Come on '' he squeezed my shoulder. I stood up and was missing my balance because my eyes couldn't work out anything. At any minute I would break down.

He helped me with his arm over shoulder.

We reached the canteen and he made me sit on a chair and left to grab some water.

'' Here drink this'' I didn't protest or acknowledged.  I swallowed greedily the entire water and spilt some over my head abruptly Dereck yanked the bottle from hand.

I sat there emotionless.

'' What the hell went on with you, you act so toughly outside what happened today? '' he shouted jerking my hand.

I didn't answer. I couldn't.

Then Dereck grabbed my hand soon we were vacating the school I didn't realise until I got  into his car. I stared at him confused.

'' We are heading to my house'' with that the car roared and we steered to his house.

After a 20 minutes ride, we reached his mansion or what a Bungalow but not as beautiful as mine.

The house was deserted and I barely saw a housekeeper there.

'' This is my house I live here because my parents bungalow is 2 hours quest from school, come on let's freshen you up'' he explained as he was rushing the steps.

He showed me the bathroom and provided me towels notified me that he would get me a new pair of dress.

Then I turned on the shower soon I felt like peace as if the hot water was washing out all my guilt. I stood under the shower for approximately 30 minutes.

After taking bath I draped the towel around me and exited the bathroom and waited for Dereck to bring my clothing.

I headed towards the mini-fridge and saw whiskey bottles, they would work out for now.
