The Order of The Tripple Moon is a secret order comprised of only witches. The order is an ancient one, first formed in Greece by the sorceress Circe and her niece Medea and the other priestess of Hekate, Artemis, Selene and Athena. The branches of the order stretched across Europe, finding their way to the Americas and to Australia and New Zealand.
The purpose of the order, in the beginning, was to bring women together and strengthen their bonds with one another, to protect, to house and to feed. Rescuing women from dangerous homes and lives.
These are still the foundations of the order.
But now they have expanded to protecting magical beasts, translating ancient texts and protecting the original. Finding artifacts and treasures. Having self-defence, mental health and wellbeing workshops.
And when it's called for they take arms and fight. Sort of like a sub-faction of Auras. The Order of The Tripple Moon was introduced to Australia in 1902 the same year the women of Australia were given the right to vote. A milestone for women history in Australia. The Order doesn't answer to any ministry or presidential powers. When the order did come into the state, the Australian ministry tried to disband the order and attempted to make it illegal. But the order had the backing of 85% of the witch community. It was put into action, that the order would be a separate power. But the order and ministry do come together bi-annually to discuss, well who knows what they talk about behind closed doors.
Many grate names have passed through the halls of the Order all over the world, some names will feel familiar to you as Audrey Hepburn, Elizabeth Taylor, Minthe Belmont, Ebony Wattle, Josephine Baker, Naomi Campbell and many more extraordinary women that have left a mark on our worlds history directly or indirectly.
